It was fun for a while, but the mechanics are so simple it's difficult to really play around with very much. I really love the idea of seeing a little thing like that move without outside help. I used to be obsessed with this kind of stuff, until I gave up after a month or two of constant searching for something complex.

I saw the first ten minutes of the un-dubbed, un-subbed, first episode of that. I had no idea what I was watching but I appreciated all the boobs. I thought though, that Toonami was a kids channel? Seemed that Space Dandy would be reallllllly unsuited to a kids channel.

I don't think accepting something is unethical and believing it to be socially acceptable are mutually exclusive, though. I don't think I'm deluded for thinking I'm less of a douchebag than someone doing the same thing in a different context.

Are there layers to it? Sure. You could be doing much worse things, yes. At the end of the day, you are taking something you should be paying for simply because you want to. Which isn't the coolest thing you could do.

I think this should be something that people who do it don't really talk about. I don't really care that much about it. I will not crusade against it. But holy fuck do I hate watching people defend it.

I'm not defending it. I know it's wrong, but there are defintely circumstances where it is less wrong than it is other times.

Why even bother saying that though? Less wrong? What does that mean? I just want the people that do it to shut up about it. I don't care what you do. Just the fact that they talk about it proves that they feel like they need to explain their actions, which should be proof enough that they really shouldn't be doing it. Keep it private. Don't make excuses.
