If I recall correctly, he created another user account with an almost identical name. He objected to the infraction, claiming it was his brother but we didn't believe him. If he'd just behaved like a normal human being, the infraction points would have expired in a few months and he'd be fine. Multi accounts receive a double infraction, so he only needed one spam infraction and he got temp-banned. The temp-ban was only meant to last a week, but he created another multi during that time. That's when he was perma-banned.

Every time he comes back, he whines about how we didn't believe him about his brother. And every time he does that, we point out how the original multi-account isn't what got him banned; it was the spamming and the second multi-account.

And I think you know the rest of the story.

if you're reading this MS, take my advice. first, drop your bollocks and grow the fuck up. second, find something to divert your attention. women are real, you know. third, just stop acting like an angry internet nerd, because that's how you come across after all these years. it's unhealthy to have such an interest in a niche video game forum that you're fucking banned from. it's obsessive.

I'm probably alone in this viewpoint, but maybe he deserves one chance at becoming an actual member. If he creates an account, states that it is him instead of trying to wheedle his way in like a little shite, I'd certainly be happy to see if he has matured.

Banned members are banned for a reason.

Especially on here, it seems, where MS is the only person who ever gets banned. I can only remember maybe three other instances but can't remember the usernames in question.

They might have also been MS though now that I think of it.

I wasn't here for the Spiderman shenanigans. It happened some time when I was trying to get my account back, and I saw it mentioned on the FB group.

MarsMudoken, Angry_Greeter, and Glukkonlulu I remember quite well, though.

I remember all of the people on the last page before Nate banned them for discussing bans.

Every multi he's made that slipped through the net was objectionable and annoying even before he revealed himself. I'm not inclined to give him any chances.

There haven't been a huge amount. A small but significant number in the old days before I was a mod. I count three in the last two years that we've been keeping records. And in between 2006 and 2010... I can't recall anyone significant. But then, my memory for old members here is pretty shitty.

It wasn't exactly the same. We can ban entire blocks of IP addresses; that is, if a member in the past had used IP addresses 123.213.24.100 and 123.213.58.215, we can ban everything from 123.213. Unfortunately, that risks catching out legitimate members as well.

And it just so happens that our most hated user shared an IP with one of our most beloved. Conspiracy.

Also, we should probably all be banned right now, what with the whole "no speaking of banned members" rule. Come to think of it, we all should have been banned long, long ago.

I liked Spiderman. He was just misunderstood.

He was a prat. He had some disorder where he physically couldn't understand why we were all dicks to him. In his mind he was the perfect forum member and we were just inferior (obviously he wouldn't use the word inferior).
