TOUCH SCREENS ARE THE FUTURE

From what I can tell, the keyboard and mouse set up is phenomenal for FPS, RPG, and RTS games, but severely lacking for platformers. And I fucking love platformers.

What he said.

I will be playing with a keyboard and mouse with AO and AE but its just SW and MO I needed a controller for.

Okay then fine, use your 360 controller. It should have controller support, if not? well maybe there are some plugins you can install.
I don't know. I've never used a 360 controller on PC before. >_> :

I don't.
I used my keyboard and mouse which I don't recommend. I was thinking about getting a 360 controller but Valve are apparently dropping 360 support on Steam because they hate Microsoft. That and they are apparently making their own controller. Heh, I should of told you that before. |

Look guy if you want to play these games on a PSOne that’s entirely up to you. I don’t understand where all the PC evangelists came from.
Check Amazon, eBay, local game shops and local used/pawn shops. PSOnes really aren’t that expensive, and a PS2 (which could play the same games and more) is not much more expensive. |

But yes, I am currently using a joypad to control my GBA emulator. I like to lean back in my chair so that the image looks roughly the right size, and the buttons are pretty close to the real thing. |

On psp you can change the screen, so it can't be the port. Maybe you can change it on PS3,too.
|
[QUOTE=Nate;556694]On my PAL PS3, the game was shown in a small, low-res box in the middle (but off-centre vertically) of the large screen. It had been stretched slightly - just enough to look blurry and crap - but not enough to fill the screen from top to bottom. The letterboxing was in-game, though, so I couldn't even tell my monitor to widen the image. I can only assume it was a very cheap job at converting an NTSC image to PAL.
I get you now, well now Im just stuck between a Steam account or a PS1. |
:
In any case, my guess is that the PSP versions are based off the NTSC ports. So it would be different. |
I dont think I will ever be playing it on PSP anyway.

You're probably right, given that the PS3 version is actually a port rather than an emulation.
|
I'd say PS1 so you can own physical copies but just go with Steam so you can play MO and SW.
|
PS1 so you can sell it at a ridiculous price someday.
|
I doubt it. PS1s are so common, PS2s even more so.

They could be running the same file through different emulators.
