Yes, everyone behaves slightly differently on the internet than in real life, but they're not trying to be different. It's just like how you behave differently when you're with your family than you do with your friends. Just try and be yourself and it'll come naturally. Playing a character is never going to get you liked, because people around here have finely tuned bullshit meters.

You really should listen to STM and T-Nex. They know what they're talking about.
