i know, its probably fun to do for a couple of seconds when your drunk, but watching loads of people do it for hours can be annoying. to be honest, i can't believe how big its become on here, i didnt know it was that popular.

Who on earth planks for hours? It's not a hobby; people do it to get an amusing photo, then move on.

Maybe they do it for money. Hell, i know people dumb enough who would do that for $10 for a couple of hours. I got them to snort a crushed mint up there nose once.totally worth the ten dollars.

Well, they were literally lying down on the job. I'd suspend them too if i caught my employees doing that.

What is the appeal?

The chance for an amusing photo to share with friends, I assume.

i did one today, just to see what all the fuss is about. Annoyingly about ten people also snapped a photo before i got down.

Why the fuck would you do it if not to get attention, that's the whole bloody idea. Funny how someone who is vehemently against the whole thing does it after spending about two days on a topic on a back water internet forum.

You can do things for your own amusement and the amusement of others without actually desiring the attention.

But something such as planking gains amusement in direct proportion to the attention and interest that is generated by performing the act.

I think it's fucking stupid, but whatever pleases people!
