Yahtzee is really hard to impress - And Stranger, while being a decent game, isn't the most fantastic game ever. He'll probably find lots wrong with it.

Hi, I've been lurking here pretty actively for... I think well over two years now and while there have been moments when I've thought about registering, I haven't done it until now. I might make a welcome thread sometime and I don't really know how much I'll be posting.

Anyway, there's just something I wanted to bring to your attention and I figured this would be the best place for it. A couple of days ago I was looking at the thread about the new female voice in Stranger HD and I went to Anjella Mackintosh's site. I noticed a cartoon voice clip that I didn't remember from before, and it was from Stranger... and, uh...

She does some pretty good voices, but I don't think I like this too much. Especially the line "They disappeared when that Sekto ass came along" made me a little disappointed. She doesn't sound like the weird goofball that she was originally (the character, I mean). Still, I guess it's pretty nice that a female character gets a female voice.

I really like what JAW has done with Stranger HD though.

Eh, sounds...okay...I mean it might be better with higher sound quality in game and with picture, but err, I dunno, it sounds like she stumbled a bit with it. We'll have to see.

That's actually what I was thinking about when I quoted that one line that she says. It really doesn't fit. I suppose it might've been a bit rushed because the only reason these voices were recorded was because people had talked about the lack of any female voices.

That clip is before it was processed to make her high pitched and Grubb-sounding. Not sure why she went with it. Presumably to show her raw vocal talents.

The games are already on Steam, and the HD versions will be updates for those games.
