I've been looking for that video.
Thanks to DI, I watched a bunch of these. This is so far my favorite. |
Wow, that's sad.
That is parody, right? |
Do you mean is he actually that frustrated, or is he playing it up? Because he's pretty clearly just playing it up to have fun with it. And judging by how he times some of the stuff, I think some of his videos might just be pre-recorded with a script and some extra 'fuck' thrown in.
The line about Cliffy B is the best part. |
I figure some Pixar fan here might be interested in this.
That line of figures is well known for articulation and quality, by the way. |
I don't like the Rage Quit guy, I watched some of his earlier videos and they were alright, but for example the Dead Rising 2 video was just made for the sake of putting something out and he's just yelling pretentiously the whole time. The video is about a trashbag found in the game. Yes.
|
It's certainly more appreciable in short bursts, but he raises some valid points most of the time, seems like.

The song gets stuck in your head after a while :P It also starts sounding like, 'Talkin' 'bout eyebrows!' |
This Minecraft song is better.
The old tricks are still the best. |

If you can ignore the widescreen compression thing, this is worth watching:
Perhaps I found the test at 1:50 onwards funnier than I should have done. EDIT: I want one of these... http://hackedirl.files.wordpress.com...saving-win.jpg |
Like helping out indie developers? Maybe look somewhere else. I find it hard to believe they make a profit this way.
http://www.indieroyale.com/ Better act quickly if you're interested. In the time it took me to post, the price has gone up by 40p. I might try and knock that down a bit :p |
In what situation could that possibly be useful? Any self respecting restaurant would have that shit cleaned before you get back from whatever it is you're doing.
|
I was thinking it was more useful for public transport rather than restaurants - If I was being serious. Which I wasn't.
The idea tickled me though. |
I was thinking a cinema.

Why hello there
|
I think you meant to say "Why hello there".
|
|
I don't understand what was so wrong with the original image that some chucklefuck had to do that but whatthefuckever.
Mr.Bungle will get a kick out of this: |

It's a parody of a meme floating around on /a/ the last few months where the poster would take the scene of that girl explaining why time travel is theoretically impossible and replace it with a simple BIDMAS problem.
That's not a simple BIDMAS problem. |
Ah, yes, the various versons of the BODMAS meme were floating around Facebook for a while.
But I have no idea what the 'I' might stand for. EDIT: Wikipedia tells me that it stands for 'Indices'. It also tells me that my year 9 teacher was full of shit and the 'O' stands for 'Orders' rather than 'Of'. That one did always confuse me. |
I've always learnt BEDMAS, with the e standing for exponents.
|
|
I always learnt BODMAS, but our teacher always told us the o stood for pOwers.
When I found out about BIDMAS I just plain switched to that. |

THEY CGI'D DR. ZEUS?! AURRGGGHH! IS NOTHING SACR-...
Oh wait, it doesn't look so bad. |
I'm going to say B simply on the basis that it cannot be A and D.
|
It's a paradox, all three unique answers contradict themselves.
We're pretty certain. |
I bet there's a version of that question that would be solvable. Like, if you used different percentages.
|
Like if C was 33%?
|
If you used different percentages it would be a very different question.
|
I approve of the new thread title. I approve of it very much.
|
Eight years of emnity spanning your teenager years, thousands of posts, forum disputes, faction splits, OWI's death and ressurection and a year and a bit of Hobo being inactive.
And you're still the first person who notices a thread name change to reflect his demoddong (Also making you the first person to notice that). That's... actually kind of cute. |
On the topic of inactive mods, where is Xavier?
I noticed it but thought I had just misread it previously. |

Making stuff CGI isn't necessarily bad. The new Tintin movie (that is CGI) got great reviews already. I'm planning on seeing it next week when it hits the theaters.
|
Some don't look so bad, sure - I know a lot of work goes into CGI, and making it look good instead of crap can take just as much effort and artistic skill as traditional animation.
I just feel that everything is being made into CGI these days because it's the "in" thing and that classics should really remain as being traditionally animated - Or at least keep their original art style, there's nothing wrong with using computers to emulate that. It's just that when classic ideas are done with 3D models instead, it takes away some of their original charm and ruins them a bit, IMO. |
