Would anyone here really go out with their friends in an Oddworld t-shirt? Though I still really would like to own Oddworld clothing even if I won't wear it in public.

Yes, its not as if my friends don't already know about my love of Oddworld, and most of them at least "like" the games anyway.

I often go out in public wearing my (equally geeky, in my estimation) Whispering Rocks Psychonauts t-shirt or my Fruity Oaty Bars Serenity t-shirt with no embarrassment. Possibly because, as Glitch says, these aren't explicitly promotional images.

I'd have no problem wearing these Oddworld t-shirts in public, but I'm afraid the designs don't really do it for me. Maybe next time.

MeechMunchie 09-12-2011 10:08 AM

So do you think there could be t-shirts for the Magog Cartel then? I'd like to see a more contempary design for their logos.

Crashpunk 09-12-2011 01:00 PM

I would think so. Besides, They are missing out the most iconic companies from Oddworld, Rupture Farms and SoulStorm Brew.

STM 09-12-2011 01:20 PM

Yeh but right now they need to promote SW for the release.

Dynamithix 09-12-2011 01:50 PM

Yes, but after that, they might as well make other shirts. (Soulstrom Brew and such.)

Crashpunk 09-12-2011 02:20 PM

Exactly.

STM 09-12-2011 02:35 PM

Well yes I totally agree, but I understand why they stick with SW related merch atm.

It would be easier just to show us a picture
Not really. I don't have any pictures of it on hand and I can't be arsed to take some just for you guys.

JennyGenesis 09-13-2011 01:52 AM

Surely we would be at the top of the list of people to show your shirt to.

Michael 09-13-2011 05:40 AM

These designs are great, I always liked subtle references :) To be honest, I like the fact that only other fans know what the shirt is about!

I always thought a black shirt with the red and green Rupturefarms logo would be good. Maybe also shirts with one or more of the Mudokon face symbols on them too. Who knows, maybe when Abe HD comes out?

Havoc 09-13-2011 12:51 PM

I like the subtlety of those designs. They are actually something you could wear without looking like a gaming nerd. Unlike shit like this:

Sekto Springs 09-13-2011 07:56 PM

Call of Duty is famous for it's subtlety and it's polite, subverted fanbase.

moxco 09-14-2011 01:48 AM

Blah, blah sublety this; sublety that. If you go out wearig that New Yolk t-shirt people probably won't assume it's a subtle reference an obscure video game, rather it is a really, really lame joke.

Also did that Sekto Springs logo appear in the game?

Dynamithix 09-14-2011 02:14 AM

I'm not sure, but I don't remember seeing it.

Also, even though I said this a lot of times, I'd much rather wear a direct Oddworld shirt, something that shows it's from a videogame. I'm not too much into that 'oblique reference' thing.

Wil 09-14-2011 09:02 AM

The New Yolk City tee reminds me of something, and I think I know what it is. :tard:

Crashpunk 09-16-2011 02:19 PM

I wear gaming T-shirts that are obviously gaming T-shirts and don't give a damn. I mean why should you care?

STM 09-16-2011 03:37 PM

You shouldn't, but then some people have...for want of a better word, pride, that's not the right word, in their appearance, or it's just not their thing.

Havoc has quite the reputation to uphold within the furry community, they cant find out he plays games other than Sonic.

Crashpunk 09-17-2011 06:14 AM

So your saying wearing gaming t-shirts makes me a furry?

Phylum 09-17-2011 06:31 AM

Where did he say that?

moxco 09-17-2011 08:56 AM

Here...

Anyway, as I said, the New Yolk tee will probably warrant some weird question and will just come off as a really bad joke (with two plays on words in the one joke - is that even allowed?).

Crashpunk 09-17-2011 09:03 AM

Lame.. :nonono:

anyway all i'm saying is there is nothing wrong with wearing gaming T-shirts. Nothing at all.

JennyGenesis 09-17-2011 09:17 AM

There is nothing wrong with them, but I am ashamed to admit that I did have a Halo shirt once :(

I do find it funny seeing nerds that wear Call of Duty T-Shirts though...

No, Im saying wearing Sonic t-shirts makes you a furry.

Sekto Springs 09-17-2011 11:08 AM

You're not a furry by extension of wearing a Sonic shirt, but usually only furries wear them.

I still own and regularly wear one. What’s the problem with enjoying a game?

Crashpunk 09-17-2011 02:53 PM

I don't have a Sonic T-shirt :tard:

Jordan 09-17-2011 03:39 PM

I do. Oops.

STM 09-17-2011 04:27 PM

I haven't got any gaming shirts because my dad would laugh the shit out of me if I ever got one.

Sekto Springs 09-17-2011 08:33 PM

Then tell the old cunt to stick his wrinkled cock in a pencil sharpener while you go and pick up some serious nerd-tail with your incredibly relevant and awesome video game tee. You've earned it.

MeechMunchie 09-17-2011 09:01 PM

My Mum didn't want me to buy a Super Meat Boy t-shirt because she was worried it would put off girls.

First day in town wearing it, two girls compliment me on the shirt.

So in your wrinkly face, momma.

Dynamithix 09-18-2011 01:47 AM

I don't have any gaming related shirts because I haven't bought any gaming related shirts.

JennyGenesis 09-18-2011 05:54 AM

Only gaming related shirts I have these days are 3 sonic shirts.

But I did want the Marvel VS Capcom 3 shirt.

Nate 09-18-2011 06:14 AM

Please keep this on topic, people. We're not discussing our respective senses of fashion or what gaming t-shirts we already have. We're discussing these two new shirts from OWI. If you don't have anything related to them to contribute, don't post.

STM 09-18-2011 08:03 AM

Damn it, you always kill the fun. Joookinnnng.

You know what would be a sexy Oddworld shirt? For MO at least, one with that decal on it from the poster, "I wish you were here....and I wasn't." < = :D

Sekto Springs 09-18-2011 09:48 AM

I don't really see how that works on a t-shirt. Whoever reads it already will be wherever you are.

MeechMunchie 09-18-2011 09:51 AM

Have one that says 'I wish you'd go away' instead.

Wil 03-14-2012 05:45 AM

Insert Coin have a new website and a lot of their T-shirts are on sale, including Oddworld. Where they were once £25.00, they're now £17.50. Anyone more tempted?

Sekto Springs 03-14-2012 01:23 PM

The model they used doesn't look like the kind of guy who would wear Oddworld paraphernalia.
