Being that I don't like tea, I'm not in a position to tell others how they should drink it.

Coffee, however, was meant to be bitter and thick.

Phylum 05-12-2011 04:33 AM

I can't stand the taste of coffee. I find it thoroughly disgusting.

Dixanadu 05-12-2011 04:43 AM

BPM gives me the kick I need to get through a day.

I'm not sure if they distribute it outside the UK.

EDIT: Oh, alcohol too. Right. Well... Tbh, anything except whiskey. It tends to send me into strange, unthinking behavior.

And I bet you only eat unsweetened cocoa-based chocolate, right?

I drink the kind on the right, but only the pulp-free variant.

8.2!? bloody hell that's a bit strong aint it lol. I would love to give that a try.

Hell yeah but just a single bottle of the stuff lasts me one entire night. 'cept I only drink 2 of these every week. It's widely available in the UK.

Oh, I'm a tea lover.

http://tea-sources.com/images/categories/black-tea.jpg

There's nothing like a nice strong black tea with 2 sugars.

Win - My morning pick me up is 2 teabags in a large mug brewed for 10 minutes...

...With milk and sugar, which makes me a pussy, I suppose.

For those of you who drink bottled water regularly when you have accessible, clean and drinkable tap water at home, you might want to look at this:

RoryF 05-12-2011 07:15 AM

I don't like many coffees but I like cappuccinos quite a lot. I tend to put a lot of sugar in as well which may be a reason...

JennyGenesis 05-12-2011 07:34 AM

DarkHoodness. I was quite interested in watching that video. Until about the half way mark where it was moaning about CO2. I immediately switched it off then. I didn't realise it was goona be a pair of moaning tree huggers. They even bring hybrid cars into the equation. I'm here to be taught about bottled water not be told to drive a Prius.

Drive a heavy polluting truck just to annoy them. :p

It's why we can't have nice things.

...Though I also would have prefered if the video focused more on how ridiculous the idea of bottled water was.

OddjobAbe 05-12-2011 08:49 AM

I collect water from mountains at every opportunity. I also live off cranberry juice. The only other things I drink are orange juice, milk and beer. I used to like wine a lot, but I can't stand it any more.

Wil 05-12-2011 09:04 AM

Beer. Wine. Cider. But mostly tea. Fuck anything carbonated or sugary.

Black coffee. Milk and sugar are for pussies.

And when I call you a pussy you really are doing something wrong.

Ooooh, what a MAN

I got tired of black coffee after I learned about coffeemate, and how you can just drink coffeemate directly from the bottle instead of doing anything else for your entire life.

A cup of black coffee is the only way to start a morning for me, though.

Crashpunk 05-12-2011 09:40 AM

I drink mainly Lemonade (Don't tell Cave Johnson), Cups of Tea, J20, Water (Duh) and any other soft drink. I don't like to drink alcohol however I do like Shandy and maybe Beer as a rare one off

JennyGenesis 05-12-2011 09:43 AM

Fentimans do a nice alcoholic lemonade aswell.

T-nex 05-12-2011 09:47 AM

Im trying to lay off pepsi... :(

STM 05-12-2011 09:49 AM

Disaronno and Coke oh and Vodka of course, good for a quick game of beer pong, but minus the beer and plus spirits...

I love this though sadly here in the UK it is very expensive and rare.

Mac Sirloin 05-12-2011 11:34 AM

I've never found any Soda particularly drawing, but Mountain Dew and Barqs root beer are both still delicious. I'm eternally 12.

And I do like Mike's Hard Lemonade, but only to drink as a soft drink. I will never, ever ever get drunk on that stuff, because then I'll turn inside out and be a woman. Or an inside out man drunk on babydrinks.

STM 05-12-2011 11:57 AM

Anyone like a bit of wine? For all you sophisticates? Doesn't get better than a red merlot!

Wings of Fire 05-12-2011 12:13 PM

I do like wine, but I can't drink it. I'm not a sipper and I generally finish my glass as soon as its on the table.

This tends to go very badly for me with wine.

I understand what you mean by "sugary" - but wine and cider have to be some of the worst offenders when it comes to sugary beverages.

Alas, this is me too. I stick to beer or cider if I'm out with friends now.

Alcar...

STM 05-12-2011 12:38 PM

I only drink Wine at home, it's policy. Because I don't have anyone that could appreciate the stuff.

T-nex 05-12-2011 12:49 PM

I love Port Wine :D I'm not so crazy about normal wine.... But I sooometimes have a lil glass of port wine. I dont drink a lot of very often though.

New Years 2009 when my parents were out and I was home alone I appreciated wine so much that I got through a bottle, had red stained lips for a day after and wiped my WoW raid group about five times on easy pulls.

I love this stuff. I got addicted to it in Moscow but I can't get it in England. It's superpowered Bitter Lemon - basically lemonade so lemony it rips your mouth apart. And it's turquoise.

JennyGenesis 05-12-2011 01:14 PM

Damn! Now I don't like mixing whisky but that is something I would love to add a bit of whisky to.

Rex Tirano 05-12-2011 01:54 PM

I love root beer, orange lucozade and mountain dew. But I mainly drink water, milkshakes or Marks & Spencer Pink Lady Apple Juice (yum). I drink far too many sugary things.

But tea should be drank with milk, no sugars and coffee should have milk and 2 sugars.

I've started to drink wine when I go out to the pub or if there's an evening thing with my friends, it feels so grown up and sophisticated but I have to limit myself or I get wasted very easily. Otherwise it's usually an amaretto and coke, please!

What's everyones wine of choice? I prefer White Zinfandell Rose. Mainly because I find white wine too dry and I hate the lip staining of red.

MeechMunchie: That sounds awesome. It's a shame you can't get it in the UK. =/ When did you go to Moscow?

Moscow was a few years back, and was a thoroughly fascinating experience (I was learning Russian Language and Russian History at the time).

You can get Bitter Lemon in the UK, of varying quality. It's just this particular Russian brand is very nice.

I would hardly call them sugary, but maybe for clarity assume I mean that last bit about soft drinks only.

The currency of Strabane (hole). But, so damn tasty.

JennyGenesis 05-13-2011 12:09 AM

I remember seeing a news report on that. Something about it making youths go crazy or something like that? I can't remember but apparently it's a bit of a controversial drink.

Dixanadu 05-13-2011 12:18 AM

Buckfast has put Strabane in the sorry state it's in.

Think Libya with white people.

Bullet Magnet 05-13-2011 07:27 AM

I'm still teetotal. I can't even bring anything with alcohol near my face.

metroixer 05-13-2011 10:42 AM

Water and tea forever.

Tried beer before, didn't have the taste for it. Only have vodka when it's a holiday or some other dumb cultural thing. Coffee is disgusting and gives me headaches.

enchilado 05-13-2011 04:03 PM

I love strong, unsweetened black coffee.

This is my absolute favourite tipple. I'll settle for Bulmers, Magners or Gaymers, but give me a Kopparberg any day. Winter Fruits or Strawberry & Lime.

I enjoy mixers such as vodka and coke (the classic), Jager and coke, white rum and lemonade, and vodka and cranberry juice. Jager, vodka, Jack Daniels, Disaronno and Drambuie will get drunk in shots.

Recently discovered that champagne and Dr. Pepper mix quite nicely as well, actually.

I drink pretty much any brand of cola but can tell apart Pepsi and Coca-Cola pretty easily, with no particular preference. Pepsi tastes good flat though. Love Vimto both carbonated and still. Usually just drink squash-flavoured water.

The only coffee I can drink is mocha. I am a shameful Brit in that I don't like tea. Closest I've gotten to liking it is jasmine tea.

JennyGenesis 05-16-2011 10:51 PM

Kopparberg is gorgeus!

Just I shame I never seem to get round to having one often
