Whatever happened to those other mudokons? The ones that give you the chanting explosion powers. Would they add to the mudokon count too, Abe doesn't save them?

They're probably still sitting there today, waiting for him to drop by and repeat their silly little whistle patterns ha ha.

They're native muds who found their own way in to the industrial factories, possibly with help from Big Face. They'd be able to find their own way out as well.
