The new shittastic animation squad is Sparkplug, and they're 100% American. |
Okay, now I have seen Wall-E.
It was really cute. But I think once people started talking it went from "groundbreaking" back to regular pixar. Also the live-action stuff was REALLY jarring. |

yeah but they didn't fit together, they should have stick to one picture. but live action only would have been much better.
|
I agree in principle, but where are you going to find that many obese actors?
|
right, impossible. but the reason for the cartoony characters is the Uncanny Valley. they don't make the same mistakes like Zemeckis. goddammit, somebody please stop him.
|
But on Mars there are no sharks for him to jump.

Uhhh
If you say so. |
I don't know what happened to Zemeckis. He used to be cool, man.
He wants to make a sequel to Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Ugh. |
I've just now realized that Zemeckis was the director of the Back to the Future trilogy.
How on earth do you go from that to that? Maybe John Hughes would know. |
Ikr? He used to be great.
Then motion-capture was invented and all went to hell. |
Where's the 80s when you need them?
This is all Pilot's fault somehow. |
Pilot is the official ambassador for the 80's.
