I might make a OA rupture farms level playable on the PC, but that would take an enormous amount of time, It's just I can recreate the OA levels so easy...being three colours and all
Why would you do that? Game sucks so much ass, that it's not even worthy. (I hope AVGN will go on this one some time)
You hate a lot Lismati. The game was ok and is ok, it would never be distributed for money now but it would still make a good platformer on Kongregate. Tbh, if you can make a game better than OA1 then show me it and I'll take back everything bad I think about you.
I can't make a better game, but It doesn't mean, that I can't have my opinion. For me that game is REALLY bad, but that's just my opinion.
Fair enough, I won't argue with you any more, your perfectly entitled to your opinion. By God what is becoming of me.
:
But maybe a fanmade continuation could have some worth....because it's intriguing to see what a single person can do. |
And if it's me doing it, that won't be much Asmoden XD
By the look of it, OA1 is just the Paramonian Temple from AO. But with game boy graphics.
You're right (unhopefully)
Is OA2 a big improvement on OA1?
Yes, but it's still just average or even less.
It was a good platformer for the GB and in my opinion lived well up to the OW name

I really liked the Handheld Oddworld games and I have all three of them.
I recieved Oddworld Adventures 2 as a Christmas present and I loved it! It was a whole new challenge, as many of the levels were completely redesigned. Oddworld Adventures 1 was indeed very short, and the challenge of beating it without dying is a nightmare, but I liked it. However, after 4 years, I'm still trying to work out what the fabled "secrets" are that the Oddworld Adventures box cover (back) claims are in the game, a process which has committed me to try nearly every password combination possible (I've nearly tried them all, just have a few to go). I actually for a few secret passwords in the process, but none of them go to new areas (one takes you half-way through the intro-trial, though). So I'll ask again... has anyone found these "secrets"? And as for MO GBA... gosh. It was okay, but I preferred the Oddworld Adventure games more, to be honest. Though, I would love to see more handheld Oddworld games in future. It wouldn't hurt, I don't think. |
