I think everyone is aware this is still early days for the new site, so there are bound to be little bugs which will be corrected in due course. After all, nothing ever goes completely according to plan!
Either way, I think it's fantastic that we, the fans, are already being listened to, and that changes are being implemented as a result. You have to give credit to JAW/OWI for such quick responses- hopefully the relationship with fans and feedback will continue to grow positively! :) |
Anybody considered a merger?
oddworldforums.net finally adopted as the official oddworld forums? It's not like the head of the entire franchise doesn't recognize the hours our admins put into maintaining this website. Beyond that, these forums have kept a lot of people interested in the game and the community during the 5 YEARS OF SILENCE from the Inhabitants. I'm thinking Xaiver/Max/etc. should try contacting the execs with a proposal... perhaps the Oddblog could be merged as well? What I'm saying is you guys deserve jobs at OWI EDIT: Apparently this was already suggested in the other thread. Kimon finishes last again |

Erwin don't be so rude to Xav, he works damn hard on that site as do other members of the community, could you possibly do any better than the oddblog team does in producing fast paced information to the community. Also the dude called bagsy on the name.

As for PC Stranger...
Um, we did that too Ssssssh ;-) Here's a list of what's different ... 1. Supports multiple 4:3 and widescreen screen resolutions, we've been running it at 1920x1080 but at 15FPS boo. 2. The audio has been remastered, no more 11khz 8bit audio, now 22khz (or 44) 16bit :D 3. The GUI has been given an overhaul, still based on what there was prevously, just a lot tidier. 4. No the HD models won't be in the PC version at this time, but who knows. 5. 36 Steam Achievements. :D |
