And the fact that Slogs instantly kill Abe as opposed to Stranger taking damage from them before being eaten. That's why they don't seem as deadly in MO, because Abe and Munch have health.

The weirdest thing about slegs is their infamous disappearing act. As hunting methods go, its not terribly tenable for the survival of the species as a whole.

That's an original creature made by Bobby Chiu. I think Lorne is just a fan of his art (and vise-versa), I heard they've worked together on a few things a while ago but I have no idea if it's been Oddworld related at all.

I know this guy he is a member on www.conceptart.org which I am a member of as well. In his gallery ad this creature is shown. In his bio on conceptart.org it states that he has been working on some top secret projects lately and that creature is not even in his actual gallery. I clicked on his gallery because when I saw the picture of the creature I was thinking this can be an artist working for Lanning. Perhaps it is squeek and the top secret project is indeed Squeek? There is a strange quinsidence going on here. Here is his gallery poster you can see that there is more to this than what we think. It looks like this thing is waring a funny suit. I can't get a larger picture because its a thumbnail image but interesting. Odd don't you think?
