The only phobia that has managed to terrify me beyond rationality is basically the prospect that I will die one day and there's nothing I can do to stop it from happening. The idea of just losing awareness and everything being extinguished, not being able to interact with anything for an eternity is the scariest thing I can imagine.

It causes a mild panic attack at its worst, but it's strong enough to keep me from sleeping (and manifests most often when I'm trying to get to sleep)- my room is dark and I'm lying on my bed in a certain way and the whole thing feels like I'm in a coffin.

I find the idea of death comforting. It's like on a working day, where when I finally get home, I like a good kip. The only thing that worries me is whether I'm, wrong or not about what happens to me when I'm dead. If one of these religions turns out to be correct, and I am wrong, I'm going to suffer for it for all eternity.

What scares me is the idea of losing control of myself. I panic enough when I suffer from sleep paralysis, but what scares me just as much, if not more, is losing control of my mind. I am terrified of getting dementia or something of the sort.

I don't fear death as much as I fear I won't live a rich enough life before I die.
Every time I go to sleep, part of me thinks about how much time I'm wasting by sleeping. I think the average person spends about 25-30 years of their life sleeping. So in the sense of actually living and not just existing, we really only live for about 40-50 years.

People statıstıcally spend about 4 months on the toılet, 1 week changıng TV programs on the Remote Control, and eat 5 spıders when they sleep :P (whole lıfe), I have fear of Alıens, I dont really know how thıs began, but every tıme I go to the dark place, or go to the bed I ımagıne one standıng somwhere near. Even when I am tryıng to tell myself, that they doesnt exıst, my second half of braıns tells me ıf the space ıs ınfınıte, there has to be ınfınıte specıes of aliens, too. I used to fear Abe. Abe and Oddworld used to terrify me. Yet I'd sit there playing it nonetheless. Lorne Lanning, you mosnter. I've had countless nightmares about Abe, or running through RuptureFarms from sligs..
However, it was the film Signs, that realllly made me fear aliens. Its slightly annoying because I quite like walking at night in the moonlight, and nightswimming, but every now and again the thought of an alien standing somewhere gets to me.

I also hate JellyFıshes. Its not that I fear, but I kında panıc when I see one. When I was younger, I feared Oddworld a bıt too. Especıally Stockyards scared the sh*t out of me. Once on Halloween I played them on 12 PM, now I thınk I wıll never forget that :P

For me it wasn't so much the Stockyards (though they were scary because of the actual threats), but inside RuptureFarms in general, it was a fear of such living conditions and just sligs and glukkons in general. Freaked me out.

For some reason I remember playing Tekken Tag Tournament on some halloween way back. Not that that has anything to do with anything really. But that is my only remembrance of playing a game on halloween. Which I guess IS related to phobias, for halloween's meant to be scary or something..?
