I don't care what people say. but I still like the songs in all of the Halo games.
One night I saw a weird dream in which there was a song in the backround. The dream was about me hearing the colour of yellow. Everything was brightly yellow and warm in the dream. The song had only two guitars but it was really awesome. I made a song of it the next day. Half a month later came Halo 3 ODST with this song: The song had exact same chords as my dreams and in the same pattern.. My amazement was quite huge I might say. |

I started a transcription of the first piece in the Rayman medly –called "Going Hieghts"– for Piccolo and Piano a few days ago.
I also wrote out the melody for this: I know this piece of music all too well. this level took me quite a few tries the first time The Rimsky-Korsakov influence if clear to me in this peice I could listen to this all day Also, I couldn't resist |

Nobody said new games don't have beautiful music.
|
Probably my favorite song from Skullmonkeys. |
Hearing this one while standing on the surface of enchanted water, looking at stars is appropriately magical. |
No Ico? For shame!
Simple and majestic Beautiful |
|
This place needs more Terry Scott Taylor.
Also, the classic Starcraft Zerg theme was cool, fitting to the atmosphere. |

See, this is the kind of music you don't get in games anymore.
Oh, and can everyone try and use the smallest video size? That last page took an aeon to load. |
Okami, Primal and Gun are my favourite videogame scores.
The songs from both Okami and Primal I've chosen are both underwater levels. There's something incredibly serene about them. |
|
And my personal favorite: |

Of course we all know Oddworld games have good music but this instantly stood out for me in Abe's Exoddus:
Also, Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project had very good music in my opinion, this is one of those gems: |

La la laaaaaaa! Laaaa! |
Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World Game has fucking amazing music
Oh and the Engineer's Theme in Team Fortress 2 |

This song reminds me of sitting in front of the TV in my room at 5 AM before the rest of my family is up and hoping to god that it snowed because I didn't study for a test and then looking outside to see it did...oh how it did ;)
I love this game for some reason even though it sucks |
|
Borderlands. Mad Moxxi. Boss wave. 'Nuff said.
|

Everybody knows it sounded best on Genesis ;) |
This is the best song ever made for a video game. Ever. EVER.
