I don't know what you think makes a games console qualify as "going", but for your first statement to be correct I assume it's that it's been commercially available at some point in the last three decades.

I agree, just look at graphics for games like Cod6 and GoW2, much better, and hey I have a wii not an xbox360 or PS3. Hey to stop a console war I propose this, why not hold the game on a platform we all know and love, the PlayStation 1

I never had a PS1... can't say I feel any love for it.
Anyway I don't really think Lorne will release anything on a Nintendo console any time soon (at least sooner then on anything else).

I had two of these suckers here, and they were fuckety pieces of work and no mistake.

The original PlayStation is the only games platform I've ever owned that still works (apart from my current PC), so it has that going for it.

Same, my PS1 I have had since 2005 (5 years) and it still works, in that time I've collected around 30 PS1 games all of them still work almost perfectly! They where wise to make AO and AE for it.

The Mega Drive was very good in it's day. Particularly Sonic 2/3.

I never got into Sonic and Knuckles as much as Sonic 3. (EDIT: this in reverse, I prefer Sonic and Knuckles) I never liked Sonic 2, either, but that was mainly due to the last level of the 2^nd world with the rising purple water. I played Sonic in 2 years, so I'll probably do it easily next time I try, which will be soon due to this.

I've never liked Sega Consoles that much. i love the Mega Drive thats about it and the original Sonics are the only ones i like.
My first console was a PlayStation. I still have it along with Crash Bandicoot and Spyro games.

I hope that Lorne will not release it on the Wii as wll. It would change the whole gaming experience. I cant imagine myself having a work out just to control Abe's movements. I sometimes wish to get in character and pretend I was Abe -dont ask- but having to wiggle and swing is taking it too far. The PS3 would have really good graphics to watch the oddoworld cinematics. However I have a 360 so I would prefer if he release it on that.

And the main reason why the Wii is the most sold console is that familys buy it. if an Oddworld Game came out. they wouldn't have a clue what it is.

well since i got a wii 3 days ago...
1- rail shooters DO NOT suck.
2- wii isn't just family console, there are games that are violent as hell MK:A and the resident evil stuff
3- graphics aren't the most important thing in videogames, gameplay, story and atmosphere are the stuff which affect the atmosphere, and the wii is a seventh gen console so it kinda has graphics that are way better than ps2, xbox and gamecube....

2- We never said that the Wii was intended for families, we said the majority of its owners were families.

3- The graphics on a 7th gen console are better than that of any 6th gen console... Is that an achievement? We're talking about the Wii in relation to PS3 and X-box 360. It looses that battle.

With the motion controls coming out for the other systems now, i dont see the point of putting one on the wii. Also, with the Oddworld's style of realistic graphics, it wouldnt be all that good on the wii. The Wii probably cant even handle Stranger's Wrath. And the Wii does suck because compared to whats out there for the other consoles its seriously lacking.

Ranting time: It can't even play dvds. The online support is horrible (friend codes ftl), the game catalogue is abysmal for hardcore gamers, with the exception of Metroid Prime, SSBB, and Monster hunter tri. Then there is the lack of support Nintendo gives to Third party devs, Deadspace extraction did so poorly on the Wii that Visceral games decided to make an HD PS3 port. Also Wii doesnt have HD. It was only at this year's E3 did nintendo finally redeem themselves in the eyes of their fans. The system should come with battery packs and a charger for the Wii-motes. The list goes on. Why make a game for the Wii when it will hinder your sales and vision?

1. the motion on the wii is a built in function, on the others they are as expensive as shit.
2. it will allow more ppl to play it.
3. there should also be a pc port, the pc will always be upgradable and so less expensive than anything else.

The wii would be such a good console if you had the option to play with a remote or a controller, also better graphics and a DVD player.

Then oddworld could be a wii series.
