Grade A asshole.
I think I'll be making a special donation to him in addition to the monetary ones to Haiti. |
Poor Haiti.
Unfortunately we're too busy killing each other. So sad. |

We're not talking about China you dumb fuck. |
:
|
Well it's not Havoc's fault that he's dumb enough to be a vessel for /b/'s malicious humour to reach u-
Oh wait he adapted that himself, yeah. Twat. |

I don't smoke.

You should have linked to that Drowning Pool Haiti video if you REALLY wanted to troll |
troll? where?
|
Wow, some of you folks are real assholes. Good to see things haven't changed.
This isn't a funny situation, and just because it's not you out there, struggling to pick up your life amidst the chaos and devastation, doesn't give you an opening to make fun of them. Check your privilege, huh? Think about this, every night as you lanky dillweeds tuck yourselves into a nice, warm bed at night, that there are people who have to sleep on the cold ground because they no longer have a home. Put yourselves in their position, actually try to empathize and then see how fucking funny you think it is. I mean, for fucks sake, people. Show some goddamn compassion for your fellow man instead of acting like a bunch of sadistic, unsympathetic crackers. ...You don't have to show off to us. Really. |
Don't you know Havoc has immunity to troll because he's so charming, empathetic, witty, dapper, open-minded, and compassionate? If anything, the Haitians deserved it for not being more like him. He's steadfast in showing everyone on this forum that he is the closest thing to the ideal human being.
No, really, fuck off Havoc. Out of respect for what happened, I'm not going to continue bashing Havoc or anyone else that makes jokes where they aren't warranted no matter how much they may deserve it. Rebut if you must, but I'm not going to start a flame war. This is all I'm saying. |
Everything that Dipstikk said.
Is getting a laugh really more important than helping those in desperate need these days? I don't condone violence, but I wouldn't mind punching all the obnoxious cunts who can't take their heads out of their asses for one second to look around and see what they can do to acually help. Go read the stories of what's happening, see the pictures, then decide what's the better course of action. I'm not referring to Havoc, though that's still shitty. |

i haven't had anything to say on the matter because i would only be repeating what others have already said. i find it disturbing that this has happened, and every stupid joke that's made with the piss-poor defence of "is it too early? lol" winds me the fuck up, but i don't see the point in exploding and embarrassing myself. i'd rather mock the people who say this stuff for being so moronic. and this isn't an argument, i agree with you totally. this is a catastrophe. no place for 'jokes' or blame. |
:
Is this a shit situation for those people? Yes of course it is. People lost everything over there and it sucks... for them. I feel sorry for them sure, if I could fix their shit with the snap of my finger I would. But I do not have a personal connection to that place or the people living there. I couldn't even point the damn place out on a map from the top of my head. However I'm not going to pretend I care about this any more than I actually do, which is very little. And I very much doubt anyone who isn't directly involved in that disaster cares any more than I do. Did that event influence your own life? You still go to work in the morning, get paid every month, have dinner every evening? Nothing changed for you, so going further than the realization that life sucks is pretty hard in that instant, isn't it? As much as you would try, you can not imagine what it is like for those people so don't even pretend you know. That does not mean the rest of the world should instantly become a throbbing depression floating in space. Life goes on, period. Making a joke about the situation there is not disrespectful to the people who died or who are homeless. A joke is a joke, just like a joke about Jews isn't meant to offend jews. You know what is offending? Being told by christians and other idiots that what happened in Haiti is what god wanted or that the people in Haiti must have done something to piss god right the fuck off. Being told that your god hates you and therefor killed everyone you love, THAT's offending. You people are way to serious about things. Learn to enjoy life, for all you know your city is next to be leveled by an earthquake. I would have rather enjoyed by own life instead of feeling sorrow for someone else's. |
I think a good rule of thumb is to do something to make the situaion slightly better before doing something which may make it slightly worse.
If you've done your part, joke away. |
Haha, Havoc tries to justify himself being an utter cunt and completely misses the point.
Again. |

i really wish people like you would think before blurting some random bullshit out that's supposed to make you look less of a twat, but in fact actually does the reverse. actually, what am i saying? i'm glad you just tripped over your own clown shoes. its fucking hilarious, in the mocking sense. |
:
And my government has done my part for me by doubling the money raised for Haiti. 150 million Euro of tax money which came partly out of my pocket. I have all the right in the world to crack jokes now. |
feel free to crack a joke then, because i'm still waiting for one that is actually funny.
|
Why did the earthquake cross the road?
|
To make its way to Israel?
|
So, the scientologists taking advantage of the situation really know what they're doing.
|
:
It was joke about Havoc not really pushing the limits of offensiveness rather than one directly at the expense of the unfortunates. Besides, I actually donated so I can make a joke without feeling too guilty, unlike you who probably can't be bothered to give money, but insists on having a right go at anyone who makes a comment because he still believes anything's sacred. |

We're having a Non-school uniform day to raise money for Haiti earthquake appeal next week. what funny about it is that it won't raise much because half of the students wear Non-school uniform everyday!

How are the jokes about suffering Haitians not offensive, but some loony Christnut's ravings are? You're saying that you could walk right up to a Haitian man or woman who lost their family, their home, their job, and you would tell them some of your rip-roaring funny Havoc's Haitian Earthquake jokes, and that they'd be fine with it? Would you go up to a native Haitian right now and make these jokes? Millions of people have died. Dude, MILLIONS OF PEOPLE HAVE DIED! HOW IS THAT FUNNY? Havoc, the fact of the matter is that no matter how you excuse it, it's still you sitting there and making jokes about a catastrophic event. People's lives have been shattered, families have been destroyed, children are homeless and you're making jokes. No, the real kicker is, you wonder why it's wrong. :
Our attitudes towards this are normal. Yes, Havoc, as abnormal as this forum may be, it's NATURAL TO FEEL SYMPATHY FOR PEOPLE IN SITUATIONS LIKE THIS. Does sympathy do the Haitians a lick of good? No sir. But like I said, it's better than MAKING FUN OF THEIR SITUATION. :
And honestly, since when the fuck does "I can't do anything meaningful about it" mean "I should make jokes at their expense," and why the fuck is this mindset so pervasive in so many people? |
:
love the "i made money go over there so i'm entitled to make cheap jokes about their current situation" lark. also, what an amateur attempt to pull me into the 'moral dilemma' fray by suggesting i haven't done my part. i salute you, sir. with just the one finger. now please jump back on top of Havoc and ride out into the sunset. after all, you two are buddies now. |
Well, this was all tedious, and not very fun to read. In the future, please make our disaster threads more entertaining, and less of a disaster.
|

I mean, Jesus Christ. Anyway, no point in trying to talk Havoc into admitting he's also an inept fucktard. |
lol?
