It's a long and kind of embarassing story, but basically: We had to go to a different class room one day and there were these score-boards/posters on the walls made by the regular students for some kind of in-class game. One of them was for a team called "The Used." At the time, I didn't know of the band of the same name, of whom the poster was named after. I thought it sounded cool, so I used it (har har) for my own username when I joined a few months later. I added the smiley for extra irony.

Well that was back in 2001, so yeah. I mean, I still like oddworld okay I guess. Haven't touched the series in years though. That's not to say I'll turn my nose up at CS should it release in my lifetime.

I thought of 'Crashpunk' waaay back when i was on Habbo and Runescape. i was addited to Crash Bandicoot so 'Crash' seem to be a good idea and i listen and dress like a Punk. Boom Crashpunk!
Wariopunk and Wariopunk25 i use now on Youtube and other stuff is from my favorite Nintendo Character Wario, i've already told you about the Punk bit and 25 is my favorite number and seem to have a ring to "Wariopunk"

There's so many posts on these last two pages that I would like to quote that I won't quote any of them.

About the same time I was getting the internet I was also playing through AE (my first OW game) and liked it so much that I started writing an awful fanfic called 'Splat' (we all have to start somewhere) after its main character. Then I joined my first website (here) and since Splat was my first original character, I used his name as my username.

Since then I've discovered that every website in the universe has someone called 'Splat' and now more commonly use 'Talps'. However, I wouldn't consider changing it here because it is who I am here.

Thus successfully frustrating me for the foreseeable future and forcing me to learn the [noparse] vBulletin tag.

Capitalisations don't really count as name changes. Send me a PM if you really want that fixed. Also if you want the space added between the '.' and the 'o'. Mein gott, that's been shitting me up the wall.

When I was in the sixth form at school, someone managed to put Unreal Tournament onto the school computers. You had to be given a special shortcut to access it. The Head of IT let us keep it because he had bet us that if we managed to get a game onto the new network we could keep it, so long as we only played for half and hour at lunchtime before the room opened up for study.

I cycled through a number of self-depreciating nicknames before settling on Bullet Magnet. It stuck ever since.

I am considering getting a new handle for any potentially professional endeavours, but I don't think I would change it here. The initials are too familiar now.
