If I ran into Mat on the street, I doubt he'd recognize me. At that moment I would stare at him for a full minute trying to decide whether or not to tell him it was me. If I did, it would probably just become even more awkward.

I wouldn't tell if I ran into Gabe, as he looks pretty plain and I probably wouldn't think twice if I bumped into him.

Justin is a different story. If I ran into him, I would immediately know, because I would likely get impaled on his boney frame and it would be a memorable experience for the both of us. Also his hair.

The rest of you I'd probably just show the general niceties and let you be on your merry way, as I know the last thing anyone wants on their way to a destination is to run into someone they're obligated to shoot the shit with.

Since I seem to have less and less friends I can meet in the flesh and more and more friends who live hundreds of miles away from me with every passing year I feel that the term 'Real life' is heavily derisive.

I use offline and online because I'm the good kind of ascetic recluse.
