That's called a commercial, sweety.
|
Sweetie, it's still an "intro".
|
Not really, sweety.
|
Oh sweetheart, we can argue on how ignorant you
are for even trying to correct me on something this pointless all day.. But when it comes down to it, it's the point of posting something that show's you the inside story of what your going to be dealing with.. "ZOMBIES". So yeah, let's drop this and carry on Baby, sugar, honey-pie o' mine. |
I think you're a bad man and I feel dirty inside.
|
It's a commerical, not an intro. Get over it.
|
Not nearly as dirty as the nasty things I wanna do to you.
(Quote from Youth and revolt.) |
Shut up Opril. Stop acting like you're smarter than everyone else when you clearly are not. And especially don't try it on one of our most intelligent members.
'Intro' ≠ introducing people to the concept and story of the game. 'Intro' = beginning of game, usually an opening cinematic. |
Did I say I was smarter then everyone else?
Anyway, here. |

I think it's excellent. It just takes a bit to break in, but the witty banter in the palace escape at the start pretty much sold me on the game.
"We beat them into next week!" "Next week...? but can you really.." "Nevermind." or "It'll take a hundred years before you can beat me!" "Because you've lived that long, right Yuri?" "Uh, no." and then when they get out and Estelle tries to give him a high-five. |
Huh, it's that or Dragon Age Origins then.
And I do love the Tales games ever so much... |
Personally, Dragon age is the better game. But Tales is good too. just save one for a later date.
|
The opening cutscene in MediEvil on ps1, i had just upgraded from 16 bit consoles and it was just so incredible such a quantom leap, but AO would be a close second.
|
It wasn't an intro, but I almost cried at the cutscene in Darwinia when Dr Sepulveda was talking about how Darwinians make a pilgrimage to the Reciver, coming of age by helping the next generation into the world. And the ending, when he talks about the Darwinians killed by Soul Destroyers. 'They will haunt the places of their death forever, with no hope of an afterlife or rebirth. I think finally, the Darwinians understand what it means for one of their kind to truly die.' Beautiful.

Opening scene in Bioshock is one of the best for me. I spent a few minutes to see when the intro continued, only to find out that it was in-game.
