Why A ? C sounds better.
|
C. A makes you sound clueless and I don't think it's a good idea to sound clueless right now. C will make it sound like you've just been out of the loop for a while and need a catch-up course.
C! |
We don't want her to get suspicious, you C.
|
C! I swear to god MeechMunchie has chosen "A!" every single time. *sigh*

-Part 6- You're about to ask her to slow down when a laptop starts blaring a warning noise. The Doctor swears and runs over to the computer, takes one glance at the contents, shuts the laptop and puts it under her arm, and runs towards the back of the room. "Come on, hurry up! We've got company coming!" You run after her, dodging piles of paper and supply crates. You both open a metal grated door and run into the sunlight, and find yourself upon a large landing platform. The dark-skinned beast of a Dropship sits ready on a marked zone, and another man in a military suit pushes a trolley of fuel containers away from the machine. "Benksan! You got this thing ready to go!" "The bird's ready Ma'am, but I'm not sure if I am!" "Well good luck to you anyway, get your ass in that cockpit! We have incoming!" The young man scrambles into the machine as Dr. Delanqua stuffs the laptop in a duffel bag and throws it onboard. She then grabs your arm and drags you into the carrying compartment as well before pressing a panel on the side of the Dropship. The unfolded doors of the Troop compartment wrap in upon themselves, leaving only a strip the size of your torso to look through. The engines of the Dropship begin to whine and an acrid smell of burning propellant fills the air. With a clunk and an unsettling shudder, the military craft lifts off, and you watch as the tiny base recedes in size and visibility...until it explodes as a ruby-red energy beam cuts into it. "Holy hell! Where did that come from?" says Benksan over the Dropship comm. system. You follow the angle of the beam to a dark SEC-marked vessel as it crosses the ocean. "Shit. What are we going to do now?" ------------------------------------------------------------- A. You see a "gunner position" sign in the rear. Investigate? B. Attack these two and try to bargain with SEC. |
I'll B going for the former, A?
|
B! B! B! B!

-Part 7- You hurriedly climb into a chamber at the rear of the Dropship, the Doctor seeing what you're doing and shouting out a command to the pilot. As you strap yourself in inside a panoramic cockpit, the instruments in front of you flicker to life and a pair of dark barrels pop out. A quick test of the hands on the seat show that the barrels respond to your gestures. You're satisfied and let out a yell as the twin gatling guns spin up. With an angry squeeze of the triggers you unleash hot death at the oncoming SEC attack craft. The Private throws you into evasive manuvers as the SEC vessel spits another red beam your way. You hear Benksan swear over the comm. "Bastard. Try and lead him with the reticule. Shoot where he's going, not where he's been!" You're slightly miffed with the Private as you're sure you know this sort of thing, but you try it anyway. This time, the tracer-marked bullets find their mark, and a plume of smoke bursts from the SEC ship. It turns in a wide arc and retreats for now. You clamber back down into the troop bay. The Doctor gives you a nod and laughs behind her opaque visor. "Alright, from here we make for the Equatorial Base." She throws you a small laptop. "There's a bunk behind you, take a rest and read something." She's gone before you can thank her. Shrugging, you lie down on the tough green fabric and pop up the laptop. You load up a menu. -------------- What will you look up? Suggest terms to search in the computer database! (and yeah, if you had mutinied, the ship would have brought you down and you'd have to make it on foot.) |
"SEC"
I'm gonna start imagining this like it's Avatar, sort of. Sigourney Weaver is Sasa! |
Yeah, maybe. Totally didn't realize the similarities til afterwards though.
|
I think it's cool. It was already sort of in that zone that with the bioluminescent fungi and noisy critters everywhere, plus the environment suits.
|
I'll follow suit and say "SEC"
Or maybe "The News" Just to get a minor glimpse of what's going on. (If they have some kind of global/universal internet.) |
man, if you guys start posting spoilers to Avatar then I'm gonna have to stop reading this.

Look up MOAR.
"Arch" |
=/ because typing in a shape will get results.
|
I meant those stone transportation arches from before. But whatever, I change it to "Tau Ceti."
|
More :)
"Sasa Delanqua" "Richard Neara" "Hyang Soo-Lee" "Military Delagation" That should bring forth more information then my last suggestion :D |
Good call, slig# Ican'tbebotheredtoscrollupbecausemymouseisawful.
'Military Delegation' 'Dr Sasa Delanqua' (priority to her cus you're in her spaceship) 'Centauri Independence War' It would be interesting to see Strike Witch trying to summarise 9000 years of human conflict, though. |
