Is one for Sheffield Wednesday fans and one for Shefield United fans? Silly Sheffielders, so angry over football rivalries they need 2 universities. My team are so mellow about football rivalries there isnt even any local university!

Intriguing hypothesis, but I think one is for polytechnic students, and the other is for university students. Any correlation would be interesting, but most likely not causative.

Hmm. Perhaps a psychology/scoiology thesis on this is in order. Fraternity environments encouraging certain allegiances and cliques to form, perhaps extending to the wider world and in this case pro football. Would certainly be interesting to see what happens if put on my Uni application.

I actually had a dream just last night about someone from OWF ‘stalking’ me (spotting me on the street and following me into a DIY shop), and my being forced to talk to her. Her name was Max, and she was far too impressed that we seemingly shared both a name and a location. As far as I’m aware, it wasn’t based on any OWF member I know.
