It has been a while since I dropped by in my art thread, I had very much to do for school, and actually I didn't want to post here until I finnished all the fanart which I promised

I tried to draw Nedd yesterday but failed miserably and the cloud picture is currently burried under loads of other unfinnished stuff so uhm... sry about that, also I have problems with my new version of photoshop, I think i'll use the old version again...

I uploaded just some rough sketches,
except those pictures I tried to ink in for crazysteef, (but they are still unfinnished) and something funny that is inspired by OddYoukos Shrykull, but it changed completely and isn't even funny anymore :goof: because after I had drawn the head I wondered how a female Scrab would look like (because of Shrown) and it turned out really weird :p

all the pictures I uploaded for now will be coloured someday in the future

and for the paper... I use any paper which is nearest I doodle around on everything, and in this case the paper which is nearest, is the print-out paper on my desk... I hardly print out something but I am always in need of new print-out paper, and so I keep on botherin my father to bring me more of it xD

here comes something traditional: a lone slig with his brew
-drawn with a simple 2B pencil (I was lazy so I made the shadows a little darker with photoshop instead of drawing them darker)

(I suck at drawing Sligs, especially their masks though they're one of my favorite OW species -.-)

anyway I hope you like it....

Poor Slig. I love the shading, it looks really good. Colour would just ruin it.

I think the AO masks make Sligs look more evil and sinister.

Cool Slig! The style you used is really film noir, and the detail on the slig is great! I really like how a pair of mechanical pants brought him his drink:D. I really need to try out Photoshop...yet I suddenly have a lot of stuff to do that leaves me no time to learn how to use it (boo hoo hoo!!)

That's awesome that you're writing a story that may have a glowing rabbit in it! I should've provided this information in my last post, but here's what I know about the glowing bunny:

The glowing rabbit's name is Alba, and was created in 2000 by a genetic artist named Eduardo Kac. He created it by taking a gene from jellyfish (one that lets them glow brilliantly underwater) and inserting it into the genome of a rabbit. So now each of Alba's cells contain some of the genome of a jellyfish. Whenever a blue light is shone on Alba, it gives off a green glow. The same was done with frogs (you can see some at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago is you ever get the chance) and also with rats, although I heard that scientists were afraid that some might escape, breed with wild rats, and start a race of glowing vermin!

since I have no tablet I have to draw everything with the mouse, and as you see I'm bad at it, thats why I often use a brush in the shape of gras in photoshop to create grasland :p , but I don't relly like it because it looks too homogeneous, every blade of gras looks the same :P *dreams of a tablet* xD

Is the Mudoken princess the same size as other Muds because she hasn't fully matured yet? It's my understanding that ant queens (I've heard that Mudoken societies are something like those of ants) usually start off looking fairly normal (except they have wings), but will then fly off to some other location, find a mate, lay a few eggs, and the next thing you know you have a new ant colony. Just an idea you could maybe work with...
