Yeah, I like MO. And why alot of people hating SW for not having Abe or Munch in it? Allthough I hate it for that reason... But its still a cool game. I still kind of like MO. At least my collection is finished. :)

Same to me dude..SW is great, but if it was not set in Oddworld, I would probably never buy it...;-) and not having Abe in it, yeah, that sucked really well...

Well I've finaly managed to get an xbox along with MO and SW, and even though I havn't finished MO yet I must say that some parts of it are a bit silly, such as the bouncing noises when Munch and the Fuzzles jump. I think it's a good game, but they could have made the atmosphere darker and less cartoony. Also, I think the Gamespeak for Sligs, Paramites and Scrabs could have been more like the previous games (Why the heck do Paramites sound like pigs? And what happened to the sounds Scrabs make??).

Anyway, as for SW, I think that's a much better game than Munch. The atmoshpere's a bit darker and I think the in-game graphics are lots better. And I don't mind not seeing Abe in it (wouldn't it be funny if Abe was in it? What would he do?).

What?! The Scrabs and Paramites don't even make the same sounds as in the other games?! :eek: :nonono:

I just started playing MO for the first time 2 days ago and although everyone can list the oh-so-many bad things about this game with ease, I still think MO was a necessary step in the Oddworld series. Something good must've surely come out of this - and I can think of one thing, and one thing only - they'll know better next time, as they're bound to deliver good games.

Nope, they don't. Paramites sound just like pigs. And both Paramites and Scrabs behave in EXACTLY the same way, as in they're in a herd, and they group up and chase you. And that's about all they do.

Yes, but there's no gameplay value. You can run around, make a few noises and attack the other animals. This will send the entire herd into a fratricidal mania as they all descend upon the unfortunate individual you possessed and tear it limb from limb.

You can possess the slogs too. Same deal.

I'd like to think they haven't given up on the gaming business entirely. One can always hope.

I watched some of the YouTube Munch's Oddysee videos, and I liked. Yes, I saw a small part, but I don't care how bad the game is. As long as it says "Oddworld" on the case, I feel good.

You are a big fan of Oddworld..I see that.But not all games (movies,shows) from one author must be so great. Strangers Wrath was a very good game, but for me Munch rulezz... :) Same with hideo Kojima and his Metal Gear Solid. MGS 1,2 were great, MGS 3 was something that was "out of place" , like Stranger with his relationship to the Oddworld universe.

Slightly off-topic, but if any MGS game was "out of place", then MGS2 is that game. Definitely not MGS3.

I don't think so. If MGS2 was never done, than MGS4(3??) will be very strange for you to play. Without MGS3 I can exist...(also due to the reason that I am Xbox positive, because of Oddworld huh)

To be honest, I've always loved MO. I love it so much I've made my mom play it. Then again, I'm like MeechShrykull and will obsess over anything Oddworld related. I'm such a nerd. :p

I don't like MO because...

- Only for m$ xbox
- Noobish Munch
- 3D environment
- Some odd characters

The characters are supposed to be odd, that's why it's called Oddworld.

I have to agree on the newpaper movies. This showed lack of laziness and the game was actually rushed. I thought the game play was alright, yeah it was a little cartoony but it was funny and ODD :P There wasn't much depth in story when I first play it. Unlike AO and AE you picked up a lot about the world of oddworld. This has lost that feel and it was basically the info is guilde to get you through the game.
