I did it! I killed all the Mudokons in AO and AE, I saw all the 4 finals for every games. It's very good :fuzvamp: I kill the Mudokon in Rupture Farms 4° zulag who bring you the red ring with the grenade!!! So I cudn't use the rings :)

PS, all the way. I could play on the ps for 12 hours straight, but with a pc keyboard, my arms would cramp up. Plus, it seems to run a little more smoothly, (sounds, loading 3d graphics, etc) on ps. What happens if I kill all the muds on AO?

well, I perfer to use the ol' fasioned PS1, But I now use the ps2 (dont ask) but then, I havent used the PC for it, but the ps1 seems better, due to the easier controls...

Dude, it's her opinion, there's no need to reply to every single post everyone makes.
The guardian angel movie is an FMV that was meant to be a commercial and it doesn't fit in with the story of the game.

I think it's the one that you're used to most. I can't do shit with the PS controls as I never had a console, but I've been playing the PC version for 9 years, so...
And I believe that there's absolutely no difference between the two versions except for the music.

Why music? The music in the PC version is the same of the PS version. I didn't find difference.

No, I don't notice the differnce. But it isn't important because I won't play again any game because I broke my PS controllers and I haven't got AO for PC now.

If you're used to playing the PS version, you find it much easier to use than the PC version. If you're used to playing on the PC, you're going to have a difficult time with the PS. There.

I didn't want to say this: I wanted to say that, for me, the PC version is inferior than the PS version for graphic quality. I played every versions. I think this. In the PS version, if you played it, the resolution is better, I don't know why, I noticed this.

I agree only for controls, but perhaps, if you use the PS version with a HD television, you have a better graphic than the PC. Unfortunately I haven't got the PSP and so I can't use AE or AO on it.

Is it possible to rip a PS1 game onto your PSP, without a PS3?

This is the custom PSP menu for using the game on the PSP. Abes_Oddysee.zip

The tutorial for setting up the emulator is here, but it appears to be insanely complex and possibly somewhat illegal, and yes, the PS3 is required. At least for the main method- others are briefly described that may be far simpler...

LMAO! You dont need an emulator that can run about 3 games. just install custom firmware (any will do) But i recommend 3.52M33. Tell me your currant firmware and i will see if you can downgrade. And you do NOT need the Hot shots golf 2 game. My God that source is sooooo outdated!

What do people prefer, the Playstation versions, or the Computer versions?

Obviously, I'm going to go with the PS versions, because I don't own any computer versions.
What I've gathered from my short experience of playing the PC games, combined with several screenshots featured on this Forum, is that the PC versions have less visual quality, but more detail.

Another reason I'm choosing PS, is because almost every game I've ever played on my computer has stuffed up. I don't know why, but neither of my computers like having games played on them. The games pause, and freeze all of the time.
That, and because I generally don't like the idea of playing games on my computer; they use up precious disk space, and are generally a lot more complicated for me. :fuzsmile:

I like the idea of just having a PS controller in your hand; no tiny on-screen buttons, just Abe and his oddysees..
uh yeah about that... for pc takes less than 1MB and at radio shack they have these usb ps1 controllers that u can use on you pc. It works like this. U buy the usb thing then u pluf it into ur 1 of those pc usb port then u just take ur ps controller then plug it in! I got 1 of those things they are cool. ps controller on ur pc yah!it rules...

Wha.. i thought everyone was gonna vote pc!?!?, well i like the both but the PC has trainers, save editors and ddcheat ;)

But the PS Version, i never make mistakes so 50:50 and also the PS version started it all for me :D
yah me too but i got a usb ps1 controller port so
i can just stick the ps1 controller in it and set it up for oddworld simple really only 8 $ at radio shack . I have the ps control perfectly and i have keyboard control perfectly so, im a smart kid for oddworld(11) i just got every control memorized. For both versions and the incredible ps1 usb controller!

Wow, okay. Sorry for not keeping up to date with the wheelings and dealings of consoles I don't own.
