Good comic, Arxryl! I liked the sprites, they reminded me of the bar in Mitsur's story. If you're short on character's, you can include me as a sprite, it would be interesting to see.

I examined the style you draw your sprites, and I managed to make a dripik-sprite similar to yours. I could post it in the 'original art/concepts' thread, or if you like, here in this thread. But it's your art thread, Arxryl, so I'd better ask first. |

That's pretty good! The only thing I'd say about this sprite, other than its awesome, is that he looks a bit unconfortable... You know, like he doesn't look like what he'd normally look like standing...
unless of course you do stand like that. ;) EDIT: Wait, now that I look at it again, he looks fine. I guess I just slouch a lot... ;) Anyways, awesome sprite! And I am finished on a...[insert drumroll here] Abe Babe sprite. I'll show it in a comic when she has more than one pose. |

I don't have much of an addition, but I do have an animation to throw in here. I made it relatively fast, so that's why it may look cruddy. Uh, yeah....... I'll let the animations speak for themselves... Don't worry, I'll try to fit some actuall drawings in this thread... eventually. Some of these were rquests from people on other forums. If you'd like to see an animation using some of the sprites I currently have made, or that you have seen me use, feel free to ask. |

Sorry, no animations for now... you can check those out in the [Wars of the Art] section... but let me present two EDIT:three drawings.
1. Slurp 2. My school, being destroyed and I am getting out of Geometry. 3. Shortly after me going home from the destroyed school.  The resolution on these sucks and so does a lot of the rest as I took it with my webcam... my printer doesn't work on this computer yet.... Enjoy anyways! |

Yes, I know this reply is to a topic more than a month old, but ... making a new thread for the same thing just doesn't seem right.
Aaanyways. I (finally) have some new pictures that I'd like to share. 1. Pirate Cove Well, I felt like drawing a skull, and then the skull eventually got a bandana, and then a Jolly Roger, and then wound up in a cave with a single candle illuminating a Pirate's long lost loot. 2. Love Eternal Well, I felt like drawing a really dramatic emotional scene, and this is what I came up with. 3. New clothes Slurp is cool, and even cooler when drawn like that. 4. Bad Summer Job... Funny idea for a summer job. ENJOY DAMMIT! |

I never started on the Oddworld game and I don't think I ever said I was going to start on one.... hm.... I don't have the tools necessary to do that. And I have created a new character. A rival of sorts... When I have a few more pictures drawn I'll post pictures of him. SpOiLeR: He's a Frog. EDIT: No, actually, he's a toad, but... still, ya' get the point. ;) |

I've been on a drawing streak! I've now got four more pictures to show you and I have found/borrowed/copied a technique to show them.
As you know or have guessed, Gorp and Slurp are rivals... somehow, Lone Wolf (another of my older original anthropomorphic characters) and I have gotten caught up in this... Instead of duking it out, I proposed that we have a series of competitions. Granted I only chose one of these said "Competitions." 1. Random Talent competition.... Apparently Slurp thought he had a longer toungue than all of us. Apparently he was wrong.  Shot at 2007-07-12 2. Slurp thought he was stronger than all of us... he was right.  Shot at 2007-07-12 3. Gorg thought he was the fastest out of all of us... When it comes to go-karts, he isn't. not by a long shot. ;)  Shot at 2007-07-12 4. Gorg and Slurp argued that they could eat more than both Lone Wolf and I combined... We were doing okay, but I couldn't have imagined they were that hungry. Well, I guess that's how the old saying goes "If you can't beat them... eat them."  Shot at 2007-07-12 Gosh... I still can't get all that blueberry smell off of me. Enjoy the pictures! |
