The reason I can't do it on paint is because my hand twitches when I draw with a mouse, thus make the image go wrong, besides, my aunty has a digi cam so I'll see if I can use hers.

Spirrow 06-24-2006 10:15 AM

Oh, I see. The problem with using paint when I do it is the fact
that my mouse ball does not always spin correctly causing
me to draw a straight line instead of whatever form I was trying to
create.

Jordan 06-24-2006 10:21 AM

I can draw better on Paint when it is zoomed in 8x for some reason.

Spirrow 06-24-2006 12:35 PM

Me too. It's because your zoomed in closer and can put more
concentration in your art and delete mistakes. Sometimes I design
or color images by putting individual dots on the screen.
It takes hours sometimes but perhaps I get a clearer Picture.

Libraries usually have public scanners.
I don't have a scanner either, I used my friend's, but if you want to see my pictures (I only have 3) they must be on the last page somewhere...

Spirrow 06-25-2006 06:30 PM

Yes, they do, but if I had the choice I'd rather by a printer, a scanner,
and a stack of printing paper. Imagine how much more you could get out
it. My family owned a printer for around ten years and because we
use it carefully, it works perfectly fine even now.

Usually libraries and internet cafes have scanners. Just take a USB flash memory drive or email the file back home.

Lord Vulcher 06-26-2006 07:30 AM

These are great! How do you have such a steady hand?

Jordan 06-26-2006 09:25 AM

Well, I zoomed in on paint, it is much easier that way, and sometimes I used the shape tool, I gotta stop using that...

I'm really sorry for posting after this thread hasn't been replied to for ages, is it okay to break this rule for the Fan Corner?
Anyway, I read all the posts people put about doing bodies, and I thought I'd have a shot at doing them, I did Abe, a Scrab, a Fleech, and Molluck, hope you like 'em!

Arxryl 12-11-2006 01:33 PM

those are pretty darn good for only using paint! Good job!

Jordan 12-11-2006 02:04 PM

Thanks fly-trap man Arxrl! I was actually very proud of the Abe I did, it wasn't as hard as a thought...

Arxryl 12-11-2006 03:23 PM

but it looks very nice for how easy it was. and I guess you could call it a fly trap...

skillya_glowi 12-11-2006 04:37 PM

And this thread was brought up from half a year ago because...?

Jordan 12-11-2006 10:30 PM

Oh I don't know... I just didn't wanna make a new thread and annoy the mods, but this might annoy them even more, oh I'm in such a pickle!

oddlemm 12-12-2006 08:24 AM

Jordan_Boi: looks very nice, i like what you did with abe. : )

Creepy Doc 12-15-2006 02:14 AM
