Great pictures!

My odd! I adore the Slog, Paramite, Elum, Slig....pretty much all of the statues! They're very impressive!
Sadly, they're only for production work, yes?

Xavier 08-12-2006 08:25 AM

yes they are... and I don't think owi would let them go ;)

Oh, no. That wouldn't ever happen.:p

Matriar 08-13-2006 12:53 AM

I guess they're staying in a safe or something now. I can fancy that they're worth that much.

Xavier 08-13-2006 12:58 AM

well I'm not sure, those statues used to be more some kind of decoration/inspiration pieces the last years, so I don't see the point hiding them in a safe. :p

Matriar 08-13-2006 01:15 AM

I would hide them in that safe overnight, when the studio is empty. Well... I'm also crazy about things like statues, pictures and so forth. I never could bear if they will be stealed by some crazy and sick thieves.

Yes, the people are sick these days...!

Matriar 08-13-2006 03:26 AM

Yes, they are.

I can fancy that they're worth that much.

Like a lot of things in a materialistic/symbolistic society, they're probably only worth something to fans and artists that impose sentimental or inspirational qualities to them. Their actual cultural/monetary worth is a lot lower than any of us would be prepared to pay for them.

Nate 08-13-2006 05:52 PM

Strictly speaking, the monetary worth of anything is the largest amount anyone would be prepared to pay for it. Which would make them quite valuable but probably not enough to put them in a safe.

typhonblue 08-13-2006 06:31 PM

Someone needs to post a larger pic of that Stranger statue.

That's one foxy critter right there. Mmm-hmm.

Xavier 08-14-2006 12:02 AM

I'm not sure someone on this forums has a larger pic of it.
I didn't see any studio photo after those were finished.

Alright then, their objective monetary worth, linked closely to their practical value.

I gotta say I would love to see more detailed photos of all of these works they are incredibly well crafted, but so poorly photo-catalogued.
