Abecrazy 05-22-2006 01:15 PM

Wow

I wish I could draw like that.

SO jealous!

Anything I try drawing ends up somehow looking like a mutilated frog.

Dark Elite_H2 05-22-2006 01:35 PM

Ah, thank-yee, ma'am.
Word of advice; take practice.
Draw out yer pic lightly, then darken it when you think it's poifect. ;)

Abecrazy 05-22-2006 07:22 PM

Cool! I'll try that...maybe next time it will look like a poifect squashed frog. LOL

Matriar 05-23-2006 02:13 AM

:

Can you see it now, Maiden?
I went to school, and it says that my pics are smaller than predicted...
But on here...they're much larger...

I do see them indeed... but they are just too small.

Dark Elite_H2 05-23-2006 11:05 AM

:fuzemb:
I knew it do that...
Well, sorry, but I don't have the originals.
Yer gonna have'ta wait.

Here's the link to my photo album.
Enjoy!

Matriar 05-23-2006 11:38 AM

The minion one I never saw before :D Looks cool!

Dark Elite_H2 07-11-2006 10:13 AM

Ok, I know it's been a long time since I updated, but I have a lot of new stuff that I've been doing over summer vacay.
I'm dear to apologize that my scanner is broken, but I do have an alternative.
I'm foced to use a digital camera to show off my pics, so I'm sorry if it's a bit blurry...
Here's one that I finished as an illustration for my Halo fic. It's called, "An Unexpected save"

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...s_Girl/Pic.jpg

Matriar 07-11-2006 10:26 AM

Wow. Looks really good!

That's Umi there, isn't it? ;)

Dark Elite_H2 07-11-2006 10:40 AM

Yeah, that is.
During this scene, after she saved the Elite there named Zaku Zulumee, she is alone and caught unnoticed with her having a dead weapon.
The Covenant would box her in to a corner, ready to attack her brutally, when all of a sudden, the heavy patters of hoof-steps quickly came by and slashed the Covenant (Jackal first, then Grunt) and saving her.
From there, Zulumee was sworn to follow Umi and the Master Chief.
The story is long and complicated, but I have more illustations. :)

Dark Elite_H2 07-11-2006 11:06 AM

Oh yeah, here's s'more. I think I've gotten better at dragons, too, 'cause I've never done this thing before...

Matriar 07-11-2006 11:53 AM

o.O

Cool!

Dark Elite_H2 07-11-2006 12:36 PM

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...rl/Halo001.jpg
This is surely not the last drawing I made :D

In this illustation, it depicts the beginning fight of two true bonded friends, almost like brothers.
Conoa Maelee (Right) is challenging Zulumee's (left) heresy, for he has gotten reports of his attacks on allied forces in the perimeter. Zulumee restrains Umi from coming forward to defend his place, saying that this fight is only in between him and Maelee.
As the crowd heats up, jeering at Zulumee, Conoa gives a spiteful grin to him, as he holds down his sword handle.
This is titled "Fight of the bonded brothers,"

Matriar 07-11-2006 12:49 PM

It seems to get very interesting. :)
But last I just stopped to read when you wrote this "There is a road in the heart of all of us..." thing in your fan fiction you know.
So I don't know yet how the story goes on... but they're all good pictures anyway. :)

Stranger's Girl 07-11-2006 12:57 PM

Great Pics, DE. REALLY good.

Dark Elite_H2 07-11-2006 08:41 PM

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...s_Girl/OWS.jpg

Another illustration. This is way after Halo 3, when Umi awakes on Oddworld.
She is stuck in a white cloud deeply burried in her mind. Depressed and in distraught of what happened to her, she is awaken by the spirit of the dead Zaku Zulumee there to comfort her in her dire situation. The title of the picture is "The familiar feeling", because once again she is alone, and it's nothing new to her.

Matriar 07-11-2006 11:59 PM

Looks good. Poor Umi...

E'l Scrabino 07-12-2006 12:27 AM

So sad...
I love the pictures, DE! Halo is aweshum!

Stranger's Girl 07-12-2006 06:17 AM

What they said! :)

Dark Elite_H2 07-12-2006 07:58 AM

Thanks, guys. I still got more, but I'll post 'em up later.
Just got up, and I seriously need to wake up...:sleepy:

E'l Scrabino 07-14-2006 01:08 AM

We need coffee! Stat!

Matriar 07-14-2006 07:30 AM

"Stat"? :fuzconf:

Dark Elite_H2 07-14-2006 06:13 PM

Stat...like...pronto, quickly, fast.

Matriar 07-15-2006 01:30 AM

Okay.

Stranger's Girl 07-18-2006 02:20 PM

Here's an example: We need more pictures, DE, stat! :D

Dark Elite_H2 07-18-2006 03:04 PM

Yeah, I'm workin' on one right now. Another Halo illustation, from Halo 2. It'll take a while. Be patient! :D

Dark Elite_H2 07-29-2006 04:16 PM

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...scan0008-1.jpg
I know it took a while, but I have stuff up now! :D
These are heads of Elite characcters I made. Each of them has a unique personality. For instance; Zema Maelee, the son of Conoa Maelee. His attitude is a hard-ass but patient with stealth.

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...scan0010-1.jpg
This isn't done yet, but I'd like to show it off. The ferocity of the Kigloki.

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...scan0011-1.jpg
This is the newest look fer Adrian. He doesn't look like a fluffy cutie now. He looks like a bad-ass Geik whos ready fer some action.

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...scan0012-1.jpg
Lastly, this is a frame of the Kigloki, head=shots and the framework of iuts head and neck.

Matriar 07-30-2006 12:01 AM

I love the second and the last one. They're cool. :fuzcool:

Dark Elite_H2 07-31-2006 07:01 AM

Yeah...I got'a say...the Kigloki's are the coolest creature of Oddworld I've ever made.

Matriar 07-31-2006 09:12 AM

I agree with that :fuzcool:

Zerox 08-03-2006 04:55 AM

WOW. I love these! Makes me realise once again that I need to start drawing more and stop playing games so much...anyway, I like your new Kigloki design...teh awesome!! Of course, my usual anal self says that the head seems a bit too bony to be of the Gloktogi (I think that's spelt right) family, but ignore me there, it's amazing anyway...
One question is that I don't fully understand how the flabby bit at the front works...I thought it was a coiled up neck, like a swan.
DRAGON FANS UNITE!!!....*cough*

Dark Elite_H2 08-05-2006 10:20 PM

Oh! Thanks! Love to hear from new people!

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...l/Skybalt2.jpg
This is a new thing I've done...I've actually drawn a Transformers character I made carefully. His name's Skybalt, but his original name was Thundebird.

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...Girl/anger.jpg
I...kind'a forgot 'bout this one...It's a dragon I made a long time ago, thought it was cool enough to post. :fuzcool:

Matriar 08-06-2006 12:54 AM

(That was me when I looked at the first picture: ) :)
(And that was me when I had a look at the dragon: )

I just love your dragon picture!

Dark Elite_H2 08-06-2006 11:54 AM

Thank yeh kindly Miaden! ;)

Now...you've all seen my first photoshopped dragon. Well...thanks to my friend's photoshop (THANKS, RAE X3) I can continue with another. Now this one's a bit larger, so I can't finish it in one night. So i've been wokring on this one for quite a while now. Rae gave me the color scheme for the dragon, so don't give me all the credit. She'll also help me with the background as well, the forestry at least...But yeah. A little more time, and this one'll look absolutely, "Damn-straight good lookin'!"
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...rl/Dragon2.png

PS- The one you saw before will be in photoshop in the future. X3

TO Zerox: It's not a complication. It's neck folds awkwardly, I know. That's how it was created. And yes, I know the head's a bit boney. But it's a science experiment. Only one survives to this day (Oddworld terms...e.e)

Matriar 08-07-2006 02:12 AM

Oh great ! I'm looking forward for your colored dragon.

:

A little more time, and this one'll look absolutely, "Damn-straight good lookin'!"

I'm sure of that ;)

Zerox 08-07-2006 07:59 AM

I got confused with the neck because if it folds like that, how come the vertabrae go straight up, rather than bending with the neck? That was my confusion.
That dragon looks impressive already, I like the eye. You could try finding a blurry forest pic for the background, or a normal one then blur it, so it doesn't detract too much attention from the actual dragon.
Try drawing a forest with various details, small creatures possible etc., then add the Dragon over it. Obviously keep a copy of the forest alone.
I need to get into drawing again...

Dark Elite_H2 08-07-2006 09:10 AM

I know...the Kigloki is awkward like that. Its neck is thick with cartalege (I dunno how ta spelll XD) It was spliced with a Gloktigi and a Steef. There's an anatomy of the Kigloki and its mouth somewhere within the confines of this thread. But it is part Steef and part Glok. And that's why it's called the unknown member of the Glok family. Get it? XD

And for the Dragon; me and my friend are gonna do it home-made. She'll be doing the forest, and when she's done, I'll perfect it. But what I'm focused on now is finishing the dragon. Which'll take me a bit of a while 'cause I don't have photoshop. XD

Zerox 08-08-2006 03:17 AM

Cool.
*Cartilage
I sort of see how it works now, like below it's skull, a large flab at the front of it's neck.
So you're saying that the flab is made mostly of cartilage for whatever reason?
I presume not that much of it is really Steef that much, mainly the sharp teeth at least, and maybe some of the main muscles, but alot of it is random due to it being an experiment and a biological insane thing and such, yes?

E'l Scrabino 08-08-2006 04:19 AM

I go with your 'insane' theory.
Great pics DE!

(when i looked at everyone else's art threads i finally got around to reviving mine)
