There's a change of pace. Yeah, I'm back. |
i've realized why i supposedly did not enjoy it, because i was not open minded
EDIT: F@#$ YOU CULLEN!!! |
Dude, Cullen hasn't said anything since page 1.
|
:
|
Icarus, I have not said anything involving you, so I dont know why you're all up on my case.
|
What the fuck is that about?
|
Cullen, Icarus, settle down or use the Private Message function. I'm not saying that again. Eventhough I've only said it once in this thread, yes.
And oh, btw, Cullen, that was spam... I bet you don't want another warning. :
|
Oh God just close this topic so we can get on with life V_V.
|
Icarus, don't do this anymore or you'll get a warning...
plesae carry on with some intresting discussion. |
Alright, reasons I liked Stranger's Wrath over the other three games:
1. Familiar but mysterious atmosphere 2. Beautiful graphics 3. Incredible twisty storyline 4. The unnoticable transition from first to third person, and how well they blended 5. The concept of playing as a 'proper' hero 6. Conversing with the Clakkers and Grubbs was fun, interesting, and simple Those are the main reasons, although I really liked it mostly for the atmosphere. |
Well Kimon just said it all but I like to add one thing. Interactive environment :D.
|
True, true.
These are all very strong points of Stranger's Wrath. But in my opinion, they come nothing close to Munch's Oddysee. |
Can you please tell us the afvantages of MO then? Just asking :).
|
to any moderator out there, i came to my senses and realized that i like SW so whenever you please, you can close this shitty thread.

And Stranger! Being an absolute enigma. A mysterious hero. It made me wonder, at first, whothe hell exactlywas this guy? And why was he gettin' an operation? This was the first time I ever played OSW. |
:
Although there are great characters in Stranger's Wrath, I have to say that I like the characters in Munch's Oddysee a lot more. They (IN MY OPINION) had a more ODD feeling to them and the Vykkers and Glukkons had such an evil little twist to them, it was so great. |
Well MO had most of the best creatures of the past games in it.
they had to build everything from scratch |
They did, but they also had new kinds of the old creatures.
They had ranks for Glukkons. And then they had new creatures like: Vykkers, Gabbits, Big-Bro Sligs. |

PC!
Dont even go there!:banghead: |
Why? What's wrong with the PC. It's the most consistently powerful platform.
|
:
|
I dont! *proud,proud,proud!*
I just dont think Oddworld could go back there again. If you think about it, pc gameplay grahpics, are'nt so good and Oddworld has advanced way to much, to be able to go back to Exoddus graphics. |
It would be cool (In my opinion) if Oddworld could be a multi-console franchise (including the PC) because more people might begin to hear about it and plus, it would allow more sales. ;) But that would be difficult to do, I suppose, but I have seen some other companies do it before. ;)
|
:
|
Wadda ya mean, man??? Any computer is compatible with the Oddworld forums.
|
multiplatform would be the right move X360, PS3, PC and perhaps Revolution if it's able to play it.
|
:
And for your information, PC's have the potential to have the BEST graphics, better than any console. And yes, I want Oddworld to be on as many consoles as possible. |
games now-a-day comin' out on the pc is advanced graphics, didn't you ever see Oblivion, that Shit is crazy ass graphics, it's not shit, compared to all these other games...........it's GOD!!!!!!
|
PCs may have kick-ass graphics, but what percentage of the gaming population actually have that callibre of computer? I for one, don't, so there would go one fan's ability to purchase (assuming exclusivity).

I think a PC port woul dbe great. Especially revolution....Oh man fanboyism kicking in. REPENT! REPENT! Okay but still. I agree it's a good idea. Especially since I can't play my X-box anymore :(.
|
In my nasty opinion, Cullen sucks monkey penis. :p
Pc would be an amazing platform for oddworld...again. |
