Grid stirred, and suddenly fell off Spider's shoulder.
"Umph!" he cried as he hit the ground. His eyes opened slowly, revealing a blurred image of Spider and some other creatures that he didn't quite remember as well. There was an enormous cliff towering above them. He got up, found he was in his weaker form.
"He's awake!" said Spider.
A small cheer arose from the group.
"We need to get up over this cliff," said one of them, Grid couldn't quite remember, he smelled strangely of sewerage and was a little wet, he also wore a black cloak and had a stick. There was a mudokon in a similiar cape, his name was Pacen, or at least he thought so. The others he didn't recognize at all.
"Soo... can you do your morph thing now?" said Pacen.
"Urm, I can try," said Grid.
Grids skin changed colour for a moment then went green again.
"Damn... it won't let me transform.."
"What won't?" asked Spider.
"I don't know.. but I can't transform. It has something to do with those beams, I'm sure of it. Now the only problem is: how the hell are we gonna be able to scale that cliff?"

(ooc: *sigh* looks like it is up to me...)

"That we der..." Spider said as he looked up at the cliff again, thinking. Out of the corner of his eye he spotted a tree that was leaning toward the cliff. "Hmmm...." he rumbled thoughtfully, rubbing his chin. He walked over to it. Its base was rotted and it looked to be about 100 ft tall.
"What's up Spider? Found something?" Dark Hood asked.
"Maybe..." Spider said as he backed up a ways, "If we can knock this tree over...we can climb up part of the way...stand back."
With a load howl, Spider charged at the tree at full speed, ramming into it with his shoulder. The tree shoke a moment then toppled over, the top falling up against the cliff.
"Ow..." Spider mumbled as he rubbed his shoulder, "I'm going ter get a bruise there..."

Dark Hood looks sad.

"Poor tree."

But he perks up again.

"Well, it's for a good cause. Sacrifcing 1 tree to help the people who are going to save the planet."

He thinks for a bit.

"You know, I've just remeberd to do something."

"What?"
Grid says.

Dark Hood charges up his stick, and points it at himself, and fires a purple enrgy beam at himself. After the energy beam hits him, he becomes dry, clean, and stops smelling of sewage. (Basicly, he has just cleaned himself using his powers)

"Ahh, that's better. I forgot I could do that."

He turns toward the tree.

"Well, I'd better start climbing."

He puts his stick away in his magic pocket, and gets on the tree, and starts to slowy make his way up the trunk.

Belinda had followed the strange group all the way to the cliff and hid in the bushes to keep herself from being seen.She watched ,in a silient horror, as a tree was knocked down by a strange slig thing.
"Don't they see that Oddworld is in enogh trouble?"she said to herself.
She watched as the strange pale thing climbed up the trunk.
"Poor things. They have no wings like I",Belinda thought for a moment,"I might be able to help them!"
Belinda stood up from behind the dying bush (she almost got her horns stuck on a branch)and faced the group.
"Hello, my name is Belinda, I think I can help you."

Dark Hood stops climbing the tree trunk and looks in Belinda's direction.

"Yer what?"

He then slips and falls off the trunk.

"YAAAAAA. . .!!! Uff!!"

Everybody watches Dark Hood fall to the ground and land in a heap. Spider puts his hand over his eyes and groans.

Owwww. Salvador was a bit dazed. It's not every day your tree falls over for no reason. "Excuse me, but you just knocked over my tree". "It's for a good cause", responded a strange creature. "Well, it was almost rotted through anyway. My name's Salvador". "You're a big, hairy, fangless spider with gills, more like it!". Said another unidentifiable creature. "I'm a good swimmer. Unfortunately, I can't swim with no lake. It just kinda disapeared overnight. Do you have any idea why?"

(ooc: Come on ppl don't let this die! Capri I'm assuming your character is human-sized. If I'm wrong I'll edit this)

"That's what we are trying ter out. The whole planet seems ter be dieing." Spider said. He then turned to Belinda and said after noticing her wings, "Miss, if yer sugguesting helping us by flying us up there, we would apprecate it. But I'll would still have ter go up the hard way, as I think I'm too heavy fer yer..."

(OCC:Belinda is human-sized so you don't have to edit your post. ;) Shes about the size of a teenage girl)

Belinda stared at the large slig-crossbreed in front of her for a while.
"Miss?"
Belinda noticed that she was staring.
"Oh I'm so sorry!I didn't mean to be so rude! I would be glad to help you all, but your right, you probley are much to large for me to carry!But if I can help you in another way I would be pleased to help you! :) "
"Thanx miss and don't worry about starring"
"Thank you very much sir."
Belinda spread out her large bat-like wings on her back.
"Well, who wants up first? :) "

*Dark Hood raises his hand*

"Yeah I think yer should take the clumsy one up first." Spider said with a laugh, "as fer me...If yer can carry my pants up there after everyone else, I would apprecate it. I won't start climbing until after everyone else is up there...in case someone slips and needs ter be caught..."

above our heroes was a monstrous vykkers ship. "Dats dem!" screamed the craft's pilot. "well, if we dont sdop dem now, den will destroy our zivilizachion!"said a vykker commander. "What the fuck are you two talkin bout?" asked an intern. "Zat damn rock has zee ability to see da future! Zey are going to deztroy dee magog cartel n den da shit really hits zee fan!" "O shit! Wat do we do?"asked the intern. "Well, umm, focus zum light trew dat peez of shit rock n blow da fuckerz away!" "eh wat?" said a nearby slig. "Just turn zee red nob n push zee damn zartuce button..quick!" "the zartwuce button? wat the fuck" begged the slig, "watever" creek creek creek...beep* "no, not zat one you azz!" "well how the hell am i supposed to know wat 'zartwuce' means u big-headed freak!?...o shit!" the slig turned around to find that the light was at a blinding frequency. in mere seconds, all of the entities upon the vessel were insinerated. the shockwave of the violent atomic blast hit all of oddworld and raped it of its landscape. "hey grid," said spider, "wats that?" the horizon was a massof hell-borne fire. "eh, dont know," replied grid, "probably just a beutiful sunset." none of our characters would take another breath before the fury of the heart of oddworld incinerated their bodies. it is an old saying that one should never fool with mother nature...hehehe...

ooc: um...Sal*taps claws annoyed* this was uncalled for. Our characters can only die if we wish them to. You can't just end it like that, this topic is meant to go for a long time (sure it is slow at the moment, but i will pick up). in other words...YOU CAN'T JUST END IT LIKE THAT! Everyone has to agree at when it ends. Therefore as the co-creator to this topic (grid is the other one), I say we ignore this and continue on as if it didn't happen. No offense. BTW our characters are trying to SAVE the planet NOT destroy it! Besides, how do the Vykkers even know we are even going after the Cartel? At this point we don't even know whether or not the Cartel is involved. Just my opinion but I don't think you read all the previous posts right... Doesn't everyone else agree with me on this?

Belinda grabs Dark Hood from behind around his arms.

Belida flies up quickley to the top of the cliff. She gentley sits him on the ground.
"Now don't fall or anything while I'm gone! :p "
"Geez, stumble once and your considered a klutz for life!"
Belinda flew back down the cliff.
"Now who? :) "

Belinda looks at a large basket laying in the dirt.
"This might be able to help me fly someone and any supplies you have over!" Belinda goes and picks up the basket.

"Alright Salvador, hop in!!"

Salvador jumps in the basket.

"Alright now put in your supplies!!"

Spider looks around,"We don't really got any"

Belinda looks confused

:confused: "No Supplies? But how ever did you get so far with no ssupplies?"

Salvador looks up from the basket.
"Luck"
"Oh dear, this will not do at all Wait,here,while I go back to the castle and get some things!!"

Belinda flys east through the trees.

The rest stare at where she just flew off.
Spider is still staring off at where she fleew off to "Castle? I didn't know there were castles on Oddworld"
Salvador is still in the basket, "niether did I"

*MEANWHILE A THE RUINS OF TRINITY CASTLE*
Belinda looked at the pile of rubble that had once been the great and proud Trinity Castle, the Castle of air, the legendary Floating Castle.
Bodies of creatures like Belinda lay crushed under heaps of stone walls.
"I....I was the only survivor, what can be salvaged from this wreakage?"

Belinda sees a little girls doll.
"My people....dead"
Belinda falls on her knees, sobbing.
"I should have been there to help!"
*FLASHBACK*
Princess Belinda Morgna Dea had just finished her packing her small cloth bag.
"No castle is going to keep this princess from seeing the world!"
The 19-year old princess climbed out of her window to escape the captivity of castle life. She had flew just a few feet when suddenley the floating castle started to fall from the sky.
"What the.."
Suddenley a rock hit Belinda's head as she fell helplessly to the ground....
*END FLASHBACK*
"The bag, I forgot to grab the bag when I flew out the window!"
SHe got up from her knees and started searching till she found what she had been looking for, a small red cloth bag.
"These supplies can help us"
Belinda flew back to the cliff where the others were waiting.
"Sorry I'm late, I had trouble finding this"
She holds up the bag .
"These suppliess will last us for some days"
Spider looks at Belinda.
"Belinda, where did you go?"
"To Trinity Castle, or at least whats left of it"
"Wadda maen?"
"Trinity Castle is in ruins now since it fell from the sky"
"Fell from the sky?"
"Yes, the castle floats in the air or at least it did. I'm the only survivor"
"Who are you any way?"
"Princess Belinda Morgana Dea the 3rd, heir to the Trinity throne"
"A princess?"
"Yes, I survivod because I tried to leave the castle"
"Why?"
"I hate the captivity of the castle. I wanted to see the world and have an adventure, but now my foolishness cost me somthing dear"
"What?"
"The loss of the people I was born to protect and rule someday"
Belinda started to sob quietley. Spider and Salvador looked at her sadley.
"Belinda",Slavador asked,"Are you okay?"
Belinda wiped her tears.
"Of course"
She puts the bag in the basket with Salvador.
"Well, let's go

She fles Salvador up to the cliff and sets him in the basket down and flies to the bottom.
"That everyone?"

Oh, and I know I should have entioned this earlier but oh well, Belinda has a British accent so she sounds kinda wierd to the others in terms of voice. Again if this sux, I'll just edit it. Spider: *pads over to the tree* Alright...time ter get vertical...

*Spider scales up to the top of the tree with no problems, now he has an additional 20 or so feet climb up the cliff face.*

Spider: Now fer the tricky part...
*starts testing for firm hand holds. Finds one and gets a good grip on it. He find another and starts making his way up slowly, using his tail to brace himself the cliff when needed. He slips a couple of times but was able to recover. As soon as he was within reach the rest of the group helps him up the rest of the way.*

Spider: *panting heavily* ta *reclaims his pants* Now lets continue on shall we?

i'm resigning my bad guy from here. i'm not sure who, apart from Drag, knows all about him, but i'd appreciate you not telling anyone, as he will still be used in my third fic (i am as yet undecided on the title). you'll have to come up with a new bad guy, sorry...

actually, if i get my fic finished before you guys get to meet the bad guy, i may use him, but you'd better think of a new one, just in case.

OOC: No!!! I love this!!! I am really not good at writing, but here goes.

The group is now on top of the cliff, and they decide to continue on. There were no visible landmarks ahead, and the landscape sort of blended into one big blob.

It had been several hours, and after lunch the group set out again. Almost immediately, they stumbled upon a guard tower of some sort, with three sligs in the top. "What should we do now"? "We can take on those sligs, but a guard tower indicates that there is something important that is being guarded. Wha- he was stopped in mid sentence, because the sligs in the tower were opening fire.
