Hey, sorry I didn't reply sooner-I couldn't go on the internet today because I've been kinda busy. Anyway, those were great chapters as usual. ;) Keep the story going-I love how you really captured the atmosphere and environment in chapter 12! It seems so creepy! :D

Chapter 16: Skaihera

"What are you talking about?" Asked Slaga. "First, let me introduce myself." Said the mudokkon, "I am Skaihera, goddess of winter. I can do anything with winter, and I accidently used it to try to kill you. I'm very sorry." "Are you really a goddess?" Asked Slaga. Skaihera nodded. "Are you also sure that you did that by accident?" Slaga asked again. "Have trust in me, Slaga."
Skaihera put her arm on Slaga's shoulder. "Are you hurt?" She asked. "A little. But I'm mostly shocked. I don't think I can go on anymore." Replied Slaga. "Don't say that Slaga." Skaihera said immidietely, "just think what could happen if Gertian gets that fire. If he does, you'll die, period." "Dying is better than this!" Yelled Slaga in Skaihera's face. There was a very long silence after that.
"Slaga, if you don't complete this quest, all of Oddworld will be both angry and upset at you." Added Skaihera. There was another silence. Then finally, Slaga said, "but how? How am I goanna get to the top when Gertian is better than be?" "The bloods of your parents." Pointed out. "What?" Said Slaga really confused. "Drink them. They will give you strength Slaga." Replied Skaihera. "Are you sure?" Asked Slaga. "Absolutely." Replied Skaihera, "now I must go. Good-bye Slaga! Stay alive, for we will meet again." Skaihera had dissapeared into the winter mist.
Slaga took out the vials hold the bloods of his parents. They were still unharmed, and still warm. He opened the blood of his mother. "This is for you, Grily." Said Slaga. He drank the blood of his mom down to the last drop and put in back in his pocket. He took out the blood of his father next. "This is for you, Lou." Said Slaga. He drank his father's blood and put the empty vial back in his pocket. Slaga was now feeling the strength going through him. He continued on climbing the mountian.

Nice chapter, Sliguy. There was one thing that I thought was a bit awkward in that chapter, and it was: "Slaga, if you don't complete this quest, all of Oddworld will be both angry and upset at you." It makes sense, but I was wondering why Oddworld would be angry and upset with him. You could've said something like, "Slaga, if you don't complete this quest, all of Oddworld will be both angry and upset at you because not only would the inhabitants be overpowered by Gertian, but they would also be in poverty due to his selfishness." That was just a very minor thing I found, though. Other than that, the story's great! :)

Chapter 17: The blue fire

As Slaga was still going up the mountain, he began to think about something. 'The god and the goddess both had said the same thing when I was done talking to them. They both said 'Stay alive, for we will meet again.' What do they mean?'
That had really pondered him while going up the mountain. He even stopped for a moment or two to think about it alot more. Anyways, Slaga not only saw the blue fire on a stick, but he couldn't believe the view when he got to the top. It had been incredible. But that all started to change quickly. Gertian and his slig troop were almost to the top. When they got there. Gertian was angry.
"You son of a mudokkon! I can't believe you got up here before I did!" He yelled. "I guess the goddess of Oddworld watches over me." Replied Slaga. Gertian laughed evily, which echoed in the mountains. "The goddess of Oddworld would never watch over you if you were thhe kindest creature on Oddworld!" Gertian scowled out. "Yes she would!" Yelled Slaga back at Gertian. All of a sudden, there was a talk back fight going on with, "no she wouldn't! Yes she would! No she wouldn't! Yes she would!"
Finally, Gertian yelled, "Stop!' he took out his gun. So did all the other sligs. "So Slaga. Are you goanna come quietly, or do I have to kill you once and for all?" He asked. Slaga was shaking. He could feel his fear rising. He was holding the stick of the blue fire in his hand, about to drop it. He was about to scream, but then the ice block he was standing on cracked, and he found himself sliding down the mountain. He screamed, but then realized that it was just like riding on a sled. "Woo-hoo! This is great!" He yelled. "DANGIT SLAGA!! GET BACK HERE!!!" Ordered Gertian.

I really liked that chapter, Sliguy! :) It was very dramatic and even a bit amusing in parts. Way to go! :D

Chapter 18: Suprise!

Slaga had just made his darring escape down the mountain. Gertian and the sligs were still up at the top. "I'm almost to the end! I'm almost to the end!" Exclaimed Slaga while he was running back to the temple. Before Slaga could go to the temple, he had to check on the war. Once he got to the battlfield, he couldn't believe what he saw.
There were mudokkons happily cheering and dancing. This must have meant they have won the war! Slaga could also see many sligs lying dead on the battlefield. They have also tossed away their weapons. It made Slaga's eyes widen. But then, someone yelled, "Enough!!!"
Gertian and the slig troop came running out. the mudokkons ran as the sligs and Gertian tried to shoot them. Finally, Slaga came out and things grew silent. "Suprise, Slaga. Welcome to your death hour." Said Gertian. Slaga, who was still holding the blue fire at his side, held it close. "You just see, Gertian. Soon, I shall light the last torchholder and then I will become immortal!" Yelled Slaga. "I'm afraid I can't allow that." Said a voice.
Molluk had came out of the bushes. "Who are you?" Asked Slaga. "What? You don't reconize me, Slaga?" Replied Molluk. He turned into the mudokkon shepard. Slaga pointed a finger at him. "Traitor!" He yelled. He ran towards the shepard, but the shepard pushed him back with a beam from his staff. Slaga got up in agony. "So Slaga. Give me the blue fire, or else you'll die." Ordered Gertian. Slaga stood in silence.

Yay! Molluck is in it!! That's cool because he's the best Oddworld "bad guy", in my opinion. You know, if you ever write a third story based on this series, I wouldn't mind seeing Abe make an appearence in it. ;) Anyway, great chapter! :)

The FINALIE!

Chapter 19: A final blow

Slaga did a rough sigh. Gertian and all the sligs were pointing their guns at Slaga. "C'mon! Don't have all day!" Yelled Gertian. Slaga looked straight at Gertian. "Gertian. I'm tired of you, so I think it's time to have a final battle. Right here, right now." He said. The mudokkon shepard (who was really Molluk) lifted his staff and tried to attack Slaga. But Gertian grabbed his staff and stopped him. "This is just between me and him." Said Gertian.
Slaga and Gertian slowly walked up to eachother, staring face to face. All of a sudden, they ran towards each other. Both of them started to punch eachother nonstop. The sligs, mudokkons, and Molluk stood there watching them fight.
Finally, Gertian pinned Slaga to the ground, and took his gun out. "Your faith in the gods is low Slaga, they don't love you. TIME TO DIE!!!!" He yelled. All of a sudden, Slaga had a quick flashback of his childhood and working at Gertian's Brew. He could hear saying back then like, "shoot it! Shoot it! Shoot it! Nice one, boss! You are different from other sligs. TIME TO DIE!!!! Stay alive, for we will meet again."
Shockingly, Slaga had punched Gertian right in the middle of his chest. He flew in the air. "AHHHH! WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME?!?" Gertian boweled. He fell to the ground on his back. Slaga could hear a cracking noise. All of Oddworld was silent. Suddenly, the sligs screamed and then ran off. Slaga grabbed the blue fire that fell to the gound "You can't control me Gertian." Said Slaga, "I'm going up there, and getting my gift!" "I can't believe you!" Yelled Molluk, "you peacemaker. You'll pay for this one day!" Then, Molluk just dissapeared.

Chapter 20: The gift

All of the mudokkons follow Slaga up the hill. He was holding the blue fire nice and bravely. Once he got to the top, he still saw the temple. He walked up to the past torchholder. "This is it." Slaga wispered. He put the stick in the holder. He felt a light around him. In a flash, he was fourteen.
"Horray for Slaga!" Said some familiar voices. Slaga thought it was some mudokkons at first, but then realized all of them were quiet. Three lights stood around him. There he saw Philip, Yerus, Skaihera. The mudokkons gasped and then bowed down to them. "I can't believe it Slaga, you finally did it!" Said Philip in large excitement. "Yes, truly he is worthy!" Said Yerus. "What are you guys talking about?" Asked Slaga in his new, young voice. "There is one last thing we must add before the full gift is completed." Replied Skaihera.
All of them chanted some ritural. After a few seconds, a lightning bolt came on Slaga. It didn't hurt, and he also couldn't feel it. Philip went to Slaga's right side, and raised his right arm. "All hail Slaga! God of freedom and liberty!" Yelled Philip. Then, the mudokkons repeated the phrase. "Do you guys really mean it?!" Asked Slaga. All of them nodded. "This is a dream come ture. Thank you!" "Don't thank us." Said Yerus, "thank your dignity, strength, and courage to keep going." "But what about the mudokkon shep-I mean Molluk?" Asked Slaga. Philip did a small laugh. "I don't think we will be worrying about him for a while." Replied Philip.
"Slaga." Said Yerus. "Yes?" "Gertian has one last request." Slaga sighed. He ran down the mountain and then laid next to Gertian's body. "What do you want?" Asked Slaga. "S-s-s-slaga." Said Gertian, "I don't need to be in this world a-a-anymore. P-p-p-please, k-k-k-kill, m-me. I no l-l-l-longer belong." Slaga looked at Gertian, then picked up his gun. He aimed it right at his heart. He pulled the trigger. Now, Gertian was dead. "Coutesy of me." Said Slaga. He ran back up the hill to meet with the gods and goddess.
"Come Slaga. It's time we go check you in with the goddess of Oddworld." Ordered Skaihera. "Yeah!!" Exclaimed Slaga. In a flash of light, the gods and goddess disapeared.
Yes, Slaga had completed his quest. He had been in quite in peace, comfort, and harmony in the kingdom of Odd-heaven. All Oddworldians and I are happy that Slaga has found a place, which is of course, where he belonged.

Be prepared for the third installment to 'The life of Slaga' which is called "The wrath of Molluk."

Nice ending, Sliguy!! It was sort of sad, for some reason, when he shot Gertian. :( Anyway, I'll be sure to check out your next story! *Goes to thread to read it* :D
