The fact that the forums actually opened and there were people online sort of gave it away that it was fake. Plus, someone said that the Forums would thrive even with no Oddworld.

i knew it was april fools, and i kept on saying it until midday. then other things happened and i forget when i got home. i also read alcar's post about the forrums not shutting down. i guess it was becuase the hole day i was trying not to be a fool, and the i didn't expect there to be pranks in anywhere but school. i guess i can also blame my selective memory, again, nice joke!

I was browsing the net, and say many april jokes. Then I came here, and saw the banner, I immediately laughed, then I was curious what happend when you clicked on it. To bad there wasn't some thing more behind that :P. But I just got fooled on another website. It was just in the news headlines, so I clicked on the link. If I had seen the big anouncement, I knew immediately it was a joke, but I didn't saw that directly. Well, I hope it is a joke, because otherwise I will be very very very sad. It is about that DMC, Onimusha and Resident Evil will be Nintendo only. If there is one game series besides MGS and Oddworld, it is DMC that I like the most. So I would be dead if it was true. (Well, I still hope I am right that it is a joke, because no confirmation it is a joke what so ever on that site:() Edit, AARGH, It is true I believe, because they had also a few days before talked about it. :fuzmad: |
I'm not sure if I was fooled by it. I saw the banner, thought "Strange." but didn't click it for a while. I read some topics, found nothing interesting and then clicked it. It made me grin stupidly.

Since I've been offline for a while, I thought instantly "How long have I been away for? I've slept too long!!". I was hoping the residue in my pantaloons was shepards pie, but alas, it wasn't true. I then clicked the link, and with a heart chuckle I pronounced "How amusing, it could never fool me! A har har har...".

Hmm, I can't say I wasn't fooled. I just remember thinking, "Surely that can't be true...". Besides, it was still March 31 here, so I wasn't thinking of April Fools Day.
