So a Leisure Plex is an arcade and a Leisure Centre is like the equivalent of a YMCA, and a shopping centre is a mall. Got it.
That's totally not dating. What an arrogant little kid. "Look at me, I'm dating! Whee!" Fool. |
Yeah, thats it.
The next person to mention a Leisure Plex gets a good beating. :p |
Congrat's Raisen, you have now entered 2005.
|
Heh. Well shyaddap, I live in the U.S.
Kids should play/hang out/be friends, not date. Brave New World seems so shocking and weird, but jeez, we're not that far off. And if that doesn't mean anything to you then read Brave New World because any synopsis I give won't do such a fantastic novel justice. |
Brave new world?, it's just stupid.
|
That book? Stupid? Ah no... I'm afraid it's very realistic resp. became very realistic over the past years...
|
Alpha, you're just making yourself look worse and worse every time you post something. Seriously now. In fact, I almost find it hard to believe you've read Brave New World.
Anyway, I was just pointing out that, while it's a long way off, this whole children dating thing could be construed as the first step toward that kind of future. |
:
i'm not saying they'll find it when they're ten. but dating when you are younger does help you get accustomed to what the opposite sex is like. in any case, it doesn't matter. ten-year olds are really serious about anything. another important facet of any relationship is sex. sex is necessary in a healthy relationship. and ten-year old just don't have the goods. |
Please don't start about ten-year olds having sex, that just gives me some realy strange image O.o.
Im actualy wondering how this topic ever started. So preteens take girls they like to the movies or to the local cafeteria. I was in love with a girl when I was that age, I took her to a cafeteria once too. We went to the pool together too. Did I see it as a date? Im sure everyone here has done stuff like that when they were that age. But did you see it as dating? I suppose not. Where does the topic 'Preteens are dating' come from? Did some kid ever walk up to an adult and told them: 'Hey, Im dating?' with the intent of actualy meaning a romantic dinner and a long steamy night afterwards? I don't think so. Thats our (14 and up) view of dating. |
:
kids do that kind of thing all the time. liek OMG i like like her!11 it's not really that uncommon. i was just saying that a relationship isn't healthy without sex or at least some form of intimacy, so that's why dating when you're not really ready is more of a trial by fire. people were meant to get down and dirty. just check out our physiology: http://www.qedsoftware.com/technical.../shockwave.gif bamf. |
:
hope they locked the guy up good.... |
:
:
(Good god, a topic I have created gets to two pages, rejoice.) |
I know 5 year old's dating is disturbing isn't it?
|
:
|
Uhhh were you listining I said thier grandmother takes them out to leisure plex.
however you could have meant something else which I agree to. |
He was making a joke, Alpha. Sheesh.
|
That's what I meant by however.
|
Hoo-wee. Shizzle da nizzle, guys.
It has been established that this fabled "relationship" *does the Dr. Evil finger thing* involves the grandmother of the "male" taking the "couple" to the "leisure-plex". Mmmkay, people? :p And if the relationship involves no kissing/intimate actions, how can it be classified as a relationship? Face it people- relationship = chance at sex. What kind of sicko can classify a 5 year old child as a girlfriend? It is disturbing, and a matter to be taken to the courts. Or mental institution, take your pick. |
I think sex should be part of a relationship, not its sole purpose. But hey, what do I know? Let's go get f*cked up on Soma and have a big orgy, eh wot? Everyone belongs to everyone else!
|
On the subject of the 5 year old & the Grandmother..
5 year old children can't really distinguish that the word 'girlfriend' means a female in a relationship.. they just say it because they think its means a female friend. Hes seeing it as friendship & most likely thinks dates are more of a friendly thing. I have no input on the sex in relationships thing.. My relationship involves alot of intimacy so I'm pretty biased on the topic ;) |
Exactly he's so stupid yet I could give him a little slack. I asked him if he would kiss her he said "Eww girls are sick!" so obvious.
|
i didn't say relationships are based around sex, but sex is necessary as upkeep.
think of it as changing the oil in your car, only not as caustic. i'm also a big fan of the intimacy, but it's a worthy cause. |
Sex all the time is boring it gives no meaning to a relationship.
|
:
i'm not talking about going at it every twenty seconds. but i can see you're a veritable talking head with four published works on the subject, so i'll stand aside. because i know when i was 14 years old, i was having so much sex i was downright bored. i tried so many thiiings, but sex just got old. god damn, get out of my house. |
:
It is proven that its both not boring, i.e. fun (the opposite to what you exclamed) and that it has given lots of meaning to thousands, no, milliions, of relationships in the world. |
:
well, i will say it can get old. but that doesn't change the fact that i'm all about it at least a couple times a day with the ladyfriend. i'm just saying that people don't constantly do it, unless they're sex addicts. |
I mean if every date you have is one where you have sex theres no relationship. Well yeah a relationship but no bonding
|
:
sex is meant to be bonding. it's an emotional-- as well as physical-- experience. |
How old are you blue?. not going off topic I'm just curious.
|
:
twenty. aged a bit more by los angeles, i'd say. |
Ah, I was wondering cause you said that WHEN you were 14 etc.
So anyway... would anybody consider here, having sex every date they have? |
:
i was kidding. i was refering to the fact that YOU are 14 and you talk about sex being boring. it's hilarious. on another note, that's not how a relationship works. you meet someone and possibly date them. you don't have sex right away, you might not even have sex until you've stopped going on 'dates' and are just a couple. sex is more about trust than motion of the ocean. |
Yeah you have to trust each other not take pics.
|
:
i'm don't think you'll have to worry about that, Alpha. as long as they don't spot you in their trees. and technically, voyeurism isn't exactly a wining and dining three-course date, slick. |
I remember my first girl dropped my phone down her bra
|
i bet she wasn't so much your 'girl' as 'that girl who lives next door that i sometimes dangle from rappelling cord precariously over and ogle'
ala http://www.commeaucinema.com/sites/m...s/indextom.jpg |
Alright... Alpha and bluebastard, you should probably wait for more folks to post. I mean, its been like 14 posts straight (besides one interuption by Esus) of you guys talking about sex. And Alpha, you are 14. I rest my case.
|
:
of relevant matters, my good chum. and that was my point the entire time. |
Okay, for the sake of trying to save this topic, I'll state the conclusions I've come to for myself. When a preteen is starting to notice the opposite sex, there's nothing wrong at the time for them to think "Hey! I'm so cool with my boyfriend/girlfriend! Woo!" because frankly, it doesn't cause any harm (other than making them look pretty sad to older kids). Besides, it's usually just a verbal agreement, and at the most usually something as innocent as a few little kisses.
However, if the kid is being pressured somehow to seem older and whatnot by going too far sexually, then yeah, the whole preteens "dating" thing is bad, especially since most kids are just starting to figure out how to make tab A er.. work, for a lack of a better word. (See thatbluebastard's image on page two if you don't know what I'm referring to.) And as far calling it "dating" issue goes, by the time most people are old enough to realize that they were not technically dating, it simply doesn't matter any more. |
:
Moving on entirely... Is not the point of life to have sex (although everyone thinks otherwise... See "Meaning of Life Debate")? Think of it- Why do we live? To make a difference? Pah! Bulla sh*tta. Why do bunnies live? "Bunny= sex". "Humans= sort of like bunnies" which logically equals "Human= sex". End of mah rant, rite thur, mon. Still, I think humans only live to reproduce, as do every animal in existence (except lemmings). |
