Pending the details of the PAL pre-order I'll be more than happy to place multiple pre-orders to get people the DVD if it's unavailable in their area. Living in London I have at least 20 game stores in easy reach. Don't go the extortionate Ebay route, it ain't worth it

When I picked up the game yesturday I also had the bonus DVD with me aswell. But I could watch it on my own regular DVD player. Is it only allowed to be played on the X-Box?


If so I might have to get the DVD connection to my X-Box. How much is the DVD connection part to X-Box? I am talking American dollors.

All you need is the remote control for an Xbox to be able to play DVD's.
If the DVD in question has no menus/other use of navigation (i.e. the film just plays), then you don't even need the remote.

That should be strange if you can only play it on xbox. It is a DVD, not game.

Nope. I was able to play it on my regular DVD player.

PA, I think there is a problem with your DVD, it should be readable on any american dvd reader

Would this play on a multi-region DVD player?
I don't know how this works, seeing as it has the Xbox strip along the top, making it look like a NTSC game rather than a Region 1 DVD... I don't want to buy it from Ebay if I can't play it.

I thought it would be a difficult risk to get the DVD, becuase of the pay. I would love too have the DVD.

I preordered from EA back on 24.December and got the game, but not the DVD. I had to contact EA and they "forgot" and sent it after I brought up the issue (should be getting it today or tomorrow). I'm glad they resolved the issue to my satisfaction, but I probably won't preorder from EA ever again.

With a normal DVD-Player / TV combo? Or do I need a 60Hz TV?

Bad news for all Pal users.
So not only do we get the game late, we are are not getting the DVD through pre-order.

Any here can help me use Australia EA, I can't seem to find anything about Oddworld here.

Sidenote, EA also stuffed the Square Pal stuff back in 1998, so many good Square RPG that never made it here...

EA: Sorry to all you PAL peeps, so what we are gonna do to make ammends, is release a special edition 3 weeks after initial release with a coffee stain on the cover, which includes the dvd! Coffee stain costs $30 extra, dvd only with purchase of Coffee stain.

I managed to get the DVD for a pretty good price on eBay just now. All I have to do is send off the money and I'll be set, not to mention I'll be able to watch if before I play Stranger's Wrath! :D

(Finally got my DVD today). Yeah, FudTV seems to be quieter than the rest of the clips. I am so glad I finally got to see the Shrink (having only played the PC version of AO). That was cool.
