I like the voices in both games, but in AE, Abe's voice is better then in AO.

The AE voice is a more mature Abe voice.
I like it better, but when i did get AE for the first time (which was the day it came out!) i was amazed that the voice had changed. But when i got used to it, i found it better  |
You know Abes Oddessy sounds better than Abes Exodus. Plus you get to wistle. But I think Lanning probally had a cold when he was recording the voices for Abe in Abes Exodus.

Well here's my story: today I finally bought a copy of Abe's Oddysee (before I only owned Exoddus and had only rented Oddysee in the past many times) and it's been a few years since then...
I've been so use to Abe's new voice that his original was CREEPY! In fact now that I've gone through the games FMV's again I understand why some people feel the second game was so different. The first was full of dark (even darker than I remember) tones and Abe spoke ONLY in rhymes!? Though I love the original I am more fond of Exoddus. Whenever I see Abe's pinky I get meloncholy... |
AO was infinitely better! Abes voice was darker, a little more opressed, and the way he only spoke in rhymes was very haunting. I much preferred it.

I think the original idea is the best(AO) the voice sonds shit loads of times better than in(AE) the best sound would have to be the fart as it is humerouse!!
