Just read the original post, modify your behaviour, and you shouldn't have anything to worry about. freakyLA did not email me lies. She emailed me saying that she was distressed about the way she has been treated by members of the forums. I browsed the forums and found that she was correct. I spoke to Alector about it via ICQ and she agreed to be more diplomatic towards Freaky. I thought that was the end of things. If people can't act with sense and peace, members will be banned. Consider this the final warning. ODDBODD, Pacen has left the forums? I noticed that he hasn't been around and he hasn't been on ICQ either. It's a shame, he was a role model for these forums; I hope he comes back. |

Geez... I'm away from here for a couple of days and it's like World War III has broken out or something. Well not quite... but things are getting out of hand to say the least.
I am saddened to hear that members are leaving because of this behavior... and I must say this kind of thing has only started (and recently began to get worse) over the past month or so. Pacen is a friend of mine... and I am saddened to see him not here because of this. I actually can't use MSN at work anymore and am not online at home much lately or if I am it is after he is online. Anyway... if regular members are being turned away, then what would new people think. So please everyone, listen to what Sydney said... we will ban repeat offenders. Just stop the constant personal attacks on people (if you know them in real life, fine, just don't bring it on here) and let's all talk about the reason why we are all here... and that is Oddworld. I´m thinking of leaving this forums ,too. It was a good place for Oddworld Discussion. But now you can find here more fights and attacks than Oddworldian topics. That sucks.
Why am I a liar, Alector and Blue? Why do we have to disscus the think with the phone call onthe forums? Why are you starting fights with me? Why do you say you know me? You just know me from the chats. People on the net are so much different than in real live. You don´t know me. And just stop all attacks! Freaky voiced some concerns about the forums to the Administrators, exactly as she was supposed to do. She didn't take the law into her own hands and start clogging the forums with personal attacks. You complain bitterly about her spreading lies. Well, why don't you practice what you preach? Everyone here is guilty of at least some pointless or silly posts. That's why this whole thing started. It wasn't a problem until the trickle of new info stopped and we had to create our own amusement, so to speak. Listen to AbeBabe and Sydney: if you don't have anything about Oddworld to say, don't say anything at all. |

Ok... I am going to close this topic now. Both myself and Sydney have requested that the personal attacks and discussions stop... but still we see more of these posts.
If you have problems with each other, then the forums are not the place for it. Take them to email or sort them out in a chat room. If Sydney wants to re-open this, he can, but rules are rules and they stand. And repeat offenders will be banned no matter who you are. Abe Babe... |
