Allright! Man I probably wouldnt mind driving around the one that was used in the movie. For some reason, Ive just always liked that car. Plus the doors opening up the way they do it had this nice futuristic touch to it.

*I wish hover conversions were real*

GrigtheSlig 08-26-2003 10:15 PM

If someone gave it to me for free i'd drive it, but the doors are like car hoods! But it was a perfect car for Back to the Future!

Codek 08-26-2003 10:22 PM

The delorian looks ugly, boxy, old and slow. My Supra GT looks smooth, futuristic, fast and powerful. The Lamborghini Mercialago has gullwing doors, and that looks waaay better than the delorian, so why insist on preferring such an old and out dated car?

GrigtheSlig 08-26-2003 10:50 PM

I don't prefure The Delorean either. I'd rather have a Lamborgini any day! But what I really want is a Chevy Avalanche. I was wondering, has anyone tried the "Gas Saving Tornado"? I was just seeing what would get my dream car better gas mileage and that came up as one of the thngs that could to that...so if you've tried it, please tell me what you think!

Naturally, the Lambo is a better car. Butst you must admit, a Delorean has much more novelty value, and is quite classic due to its protrayal in Back To The Future. Had it not been there, no one would even know about it. Use some sense, boy.

EDIT: Forgot to add in a spiteful comment;) Can't have a rebuting post without a spite comment. What makes that Supra so good, anyways? A Speed 6 by far outpreforms it, and must say, looks much better also.

Codek 08-27-2003 12:05 AM

I don't like a car because it's a classic. I like a car because it looks good and is POWERFUL! Power, good looks, speed, are all parts of what a good supercar should be built on.

Just because a car features in a movie, doesn't automatically make it great. The car is ugly, it is outdated now, and there are better cars. I just can't understand people that like cars that they don't even like.

"Hey, I love the car cause it's classic, but it's crap cause it's ugly" Make up your mind boy!

Majic 08-27-2003 12:15 AM

Again, tahts your personal preference:p Some people make like a car for novelty value, like some collectors. For isntance, some people like to collect Mustangs. Heck, those suck for what you pay, yet people like them for the Novelty value of them being a turning type point for older American cars.

The Toyota Supra GT. It's a REAL car. I can outrun pretty much any police car in most countries with my baby!

If this one doesnt work then this should:

It's a beast!!!

*drools* I'd love to have a car like that! Is that a pic of your actuall car? If so, orange all the way baby! My dream car is orange!:D

Yeah, I guess some people just fall in love with a certain shape of a car.

You're right, the mustang does suck. So much unused power. I would never drive a pissy little shopping runabout. For me it's either the drive of my life, or nothing.

oddguy 08-27-2003 12:42 AM

Never driven a mustang.....I just like the way it looks.

That isn't a picture of my actual car, but mine is exactly the same, minus the pretty spray job. Mine is just plain orange (hence the reason I chose this photo), with a big orange front window sticker.

Everything else is the same. The alloys, the spoiler, the hood vents, the general bodykit etc. all comes with the car.

oddguy 08-27-2003 12:57 AM

I love you!  Death, you sure do have an excellent sense of style when it comes to vehicles.:fuzwink:

I was fortunate to recieve large sums of money from a very rich uncle at the age of 15. I saved it for about 4 years until I left home. I spent alot of money on the house and invested in a business that I knew would be booming by the time my money starts running out. Thanks to sound financial planning, I can now afford things like cool cars and big guns! :D

Trust me, all the boring stuff you learn on a business course in college is well worth it. All you need is a few thousand pounds/dollars/yen/whatever and a good business to invest in.

oddguy 08-27-2003 01:16 AM

Yeah, I'm aiming to start a film company with sort of an "out of the box" quality to the projects that are chosen. New movies with new ideas......not the same old stock characters in different situations.

My parents are in the film industry and have a tv series that major networks are looking at right now. When things take off, my parents are going to pay me for all the helpfull work I've provided the past years......and well, I want to be smart and save it up so I can start that company I've always dreamed of and more.

Thats a pretty neat idea.

Me and a freind want to start a house building business. We have found a place that sells houses for almost 10 times more than what it costs to build. For instance, a £50,000 house will sell there for £500,000.

oddguy 08-27-2003 01:55 AM

House Building Business is where all the money lies my friend. Good choice.:fuzwink: I have a friend who's dad is in house development and he's so rich that when people get him a gift, no matter what it is, he allready has it.

Why don't you custom paint it like that! It looks so cool!

oddguy 08-27-2003 01:57 PM

The flying person on that paintjob looks stupid though.:fuzsad:

Codek 08-27-2003 04:21 PM

I was actually thinking of getting a spray job something similar to that. Any ideas?

GrigtheSlig 08-27-2003 04:47 PM

You could get this really cool blue flames on the front of your car...or you could put Abe and Munch on the front of your car...or whatever you like! I'm thinkin' that orange car with blue flames would be so cool!:fuzwink: :fuzcool: :D

Codek 08-27-2003 05:08 PM

I like the idea of your XBOX abe and munch spray job. I might just do that.

Yeah my freind has blue flames, so I would kinda look a bit lame if I got them too. It would look neat but, you know how it is.

GrigtheSlig 08-27-2003 05:17 PM

Yeah, it'd be like, "Hey, I got Blue flames too!" That'd be really lame! But the XBOX thing would be cool! XBOX,Oddworld and cars would mix very well!

Codek 08-27-2003 05:24 PM

A big XBOX "X" on the front hood would be cool. With Abe and Munch on the side...

I'll take her down to the local garage next week and find out if they can do it.

GrigtheSlig 08-27-2003 05:30 PM

They probably could, you'd just have to provide the pics of Abe and Munch, and the X! Then when it's done, you'll have to take pics for us to see your car! I'd have Abe on the driver side door, Munch on the passenger side, the big X on the hood, and Steef on the trunk! Sounds good! But you'd have to save some room for the rest of the quintology characters!

oddguy 08-28-2003 05:17 AM

Which Abe and Munch pics would you use, death?
This is so exciting!

-oddguy:fuzcool:

PinkHaired Mudokon CWR 08-28-2003 12:57 PM

Mercedes Benz, Mustang, and a BMW oh yeah baby!

GrigtheSlig 08-28-2003 02:31 PM

*gives hi five to pinky* Goin' for the expencive cars I see, they're the best!

Codek 08-28-2003 06:37 PM

I think I will use the pic of abe folding his arms, and munch in behind next to him...

Fez 08-28-2003 06:43 PM

pugeot (spelling!?) 206 CC for me
