OMG, that is so wonderful - it turns out MO for the GBA isn't actually a straight conversion with a couple of new bits added, but instead (from what the manual says, at least, many thanks to Nath!) a sort of addendum or missing chapter. Alf did say that the Evenwurst Weiner Factory was built where RuptureFarms once stood, though, which creates some interesting cartography/continuity dilemmas, but nothing too intrusive of Oddworld lore, especially since this is just a portable game.
Break Wind Hill; Fort Glokz.... hehe, cheeky. I think it's safe to say I'm going to look into getting a GBA SP. :fuzwink: |
Ooooo :) That looks really cool!!! A lot better than the other GB OW games :)
I think I'll get the emu version from somewhere ;) Anyway, I downloaded one of the streaming movies, and they were really bbbbaaaadddd graphics, and I couldn't really understand what was going on. Has anyone downloaded any of the movies? ~Miss Odd Serenity |
Wow, that's pretty neat. I'm considering getting it now.
The only thing I'm worried about is the whole fuzzle/mudokon merging thing...that's just stupid. |
Hmmm, looks like the storyline for MO on gameboy is way different. I know OWI licenses their "world" to another developer, but does that mean that the ideas, like Fort Gloks and stuff is an OWI idea, or the GB people's idea?

If it is out right now, I will probably buy it, and trade in some old games and my old advance for the Game Boy Advance SP just because it will be easier to play with a built in light, and I like SP a lot better.

Oh god, I probably won't buy it, as I can't afford the game or the Gameboy Advance SP. Especially not now, when I owe Mum $65. Ugh, the holidays can be a burden.
Though, it's good to see it wasn't a straight conversion! Alcar... |

Looks like there's a bit of a delay from the US date ... unlike w/ FFT:A, which got a Aus release only a week after the US. And Gameboy SP's are cool. Get one!!! If you can that is. I bought one last month for FFT:A, so I'm all set for when Oddworld is out. Abe Babe... |
