Much as I would love to recruit you into our club, you live about 6000 kilometers away. That's the only problem with meeting people on the internet, earth has a diameter of 12,600 kilometers. That is a circumferance of around 75,000 kilometers. pretty big really.

Do you ever run into homeless people or squatters i.e. drug addicts or gangs. I would think they would hang around abandoned buildings. (I assume a lot of these buildings have been "bombed" by "artists" if you know what I mean, heheh)

Adder 07-29-2003 12:48 PM

I know it's a bit drastic but...

HOW OLD ARE YOU?

And by "you" I mean your freinds. By being on this forum, i'd guess under 20, but to own a real riffle with "practice" ammo i'd say around 30.

At what age did this "wouldn't it be cool" moment strick, and when did you upgrade to riffles?

Fez 07-29-2003 12:58 PM

he dont have the rifles the club he goes to owns them.

ok, this should answer the questions.

1. Yes we do sometimes run into squatters and bombers (graffiti writers), most of the time they take just one look at our guns and run for it. The rest of the time they can't run because they are too drunk so we give them a hand.

2. I am not going to tell you my age, and I am not going to tell you my name either, or my credit card number. :D

3. I OWN the club.

Happy?

I was just wondering if you were planning on making this club go any further...expanding in the future maybe? Going national...Global? Oh, and as I asked before...how many members are in your group? 8...or are there more? I also think it's very kind of you guys to help the drunken ones! :D Do they understand what's going on when you help em' out...or are they so anti-sober to understand?

We help everyone. We never chuck a homeless person out of his shelter without giving him alternative shelter.

And there are currently 8 people in our club. We did think about going global, and making it an official game with world competitions etc. But we then realised that only 8 people in the world know about it.

Nope. Mainly because we don't have the time to make one these days.

My brother and I, and some friends had always liked the idea, what if you could partake in a real life type of game like Counter Strike, etc. ?Of course not using real ammunition, but more along the lines of what your talking about, firing blanks, special ammunition, etc.

Anyways I think you guys should keep it only in that small group I think its better not becoming just another type of extreme game type of thing.

oddguy 07-31-2003 01:05 AM

Al is right. Keep it in a small group. It's cooler that way! :D

How often do you guys do this game?

Not often, its a pretty big haul whenever we do.

And that is the plan. We don't want it to be some kind of supertrend with loads of people in expensive suits telling us to "enjoy ourselves like this". We came up with the idea in a moment of diversity, and that is how we will keep it...

And it is good to hear that you too are thinking of it Al, it's a really great game, well worth all the money. And of course you don't need all the expensive gear either, you can just improvise! It is advised that you use nightvision at some point though - even at that sort of cost, it's a bit pointless if you're all using flashlights, and a bit dangerous if you're running around in the dark.

COUNTERSTRIKE <- dead game. Almost completely forgot it existed. :D hahaha.

Yeah, that'd be pretty lame if a bunch of rich people found out about it and were like, "Yeah, I bought my own abandoned building so me and my buds could play. Ripleys Believe it or not is doing a story on us. Did we create it? Yup, one day I said to my friends...," while talking to a room full of ladies.
