ok xav this may be too farfetched.....a LONG time ago on the oddworld AO sight, when it was brand new and had lots of flash stuff on it....(like i dont even know if you were aware of oddworld then) there was a rare (nowadays) pic of a scrab drawing/painting. he was standing on a rock howling at the SUNSET not the moon...i saved it but i cant find it back (cause my dad's had like 4 harddrives since then). maybe by some slim, wafy chance yoou have it?

I cheked and I didn't find anything like that on the first version of Oddorld.com :dodgy:

well, it was, but it had a completeley different layout, it had all the characters like just standing there instead of a list, there was only like 4 characters, and they were like in a sewer by a pipe, remember that? it was when AO was brand new for PC, and yes it had like little blurry images of scrabs and paramites popping aroun the screen and you could hear their echo-like noises.

there were only 3 versions of oddworld.com...

as in.....the first of the three, i didnt say that clearly.

There was a version of Oddworld.com before the Splash page of the one that you posted, Xavier, but it was around before Internet Archives started, so there'd be no record of it, unless something really flukey happens and some nerd has it saved on their hard drive, or unless OWI still have it stashed away somehow. I rememeber the pic SS is talking about, but it's nothing to do with a drain - it's just the characters of AO standing together in a little group.

My only other recollection of that site is that it had a juddery Internet-movie of the AO opening, but my comp was rubbish back then. Actually, I might have some cache images of it stored on my old comp, but it'd take far too long to look. *runs off*

Um, no, not really... but I'll try, anyway.

I can't remember ever seeing a picture like that before. Obviously it's a conglomerate of the opening sequence of AE and a timer from the Boiler Run, also in AE - so I think it's safe to say this isn't from the first Oddworld.com, since it changed when Abe's Exoddus was released. That's all I can deduce, really. Sorry.
