To tell you the truth I don't think we should find out in the Quintology at least because the mystery I find to be rather original. Now maybe we will see them in other Oddworld game series but I don't think it will happen in the Quintology.

I think that maybe meeches were scavengers, or hunters that relied on the element of surprise for a single killing strike. I thought about what three jaws were for, and I realised that two mouths ment it could eat twice as fast. Eating faster means that it was able to eat more before another hunter came to it. And powerfull legs mean a quick getaway. They might group up for a big kill, though, like a meetle or (more likely) a Mug. They could still easily kill weaker creatures like a mud though.

I'd have to agree with the view of Meeches being scavengers as for the ultimate hunter my bet would be on Fleeches, sure they can be killed quite easily by a scrab but the can eat any creature regardless of its size and if they attack in a pack they can be very dangerous.

You have got a point. Fleeches could be greater hunters if they hunted in packs. Could you imagine the possibilties - they could take out every civilisation on ODDWORLD

I doubt all civilisations but almost certainly all weaker and less orginised tribes or herds.
