At the moment a good amount of very powerful PC's could not handle Halo or Dead or Alive 3 calibur graphics. Take Medal of Honor: Allied Assault for instance, it's terrain can't match the terrain seen in the second level of Halo. When Games like Unreal 2 come out, the graphics on XBOX will be beaten... then again, the game B.C. looks better then Unreal 2, so I'm not exactly sure which graphic proccessers are better.

GameCube: £129.99 Xbox: £199.99 Most GameCube games: £34.99 - £39.99 Most Xbox games: £39.99 - £44.99 The GC wins again! |

(Xbox) G---->>|>>>>|>>>>|>>>~|~~~~ + (GC) P------|>>>>|>>>>|~~~~|~~~~ + (PS2) *Think of this bizarre formation of lines as a crude racing track...* The Xbox falls head first at the first furlong due to an overall poor quality of games, nearly all games being either rushed or copies of games you can get cheaper on other consoles. The PS2 obtains the early lead (-) as the first next gen console out, leading to massed blood-outing riots as crazed 32-bit maniacs franticly buy buy buy whislt the nimble overlooked Gamecube trots past the lumbering Microsoft machine. On the middle stretch, (>) the Xbox procedes to throw off its rider, one portly billionair, and trample repeatedly on his head. Oh, look at that! They've all joined in! How unsporting! Well, *ahem* as the race get underway once more the PS2 appears too be tiring a bit. Acording to his manager not enough low-cal, origional game ideas. Well thats going to cost him later... HA! Did you see that!?! The underdog of this race, the Gamecube, just simply galloped past the PS2 and thusly mooned it horseily. The diet of fresh graphics, games and a small price tag seem to be working well. We're on the final straight here (~) and it looks too be the Gamecube all the waybut, no, out from the distance, looming like a luiminus thingie, its the PS2! Fueled no dought by the might of its fabled Hard Disc Drive and the reports of a NEW addition to the family, the PS2 is catching up! But the Gamecube is going strong!! And the Xbox is sitting on Bill Gates head!!! ITS NECK AND NECK!!! WHO WILL WIN...? Place yer bets: PS2 winning ~ 5-1 GameCube winning ~ 10-2 Xbox actually creating an origional artistic new form of gaming that appears to live on its own and changes the face of compute gaming forever ~ 100,000,000,000,000,000,000-0 :D |

Gamecube wins??
Idon't think so... What Xbox has and Gamecube doesn't: Hardrive: $100.00 DVD: $50.00 CD Burner: $25.00 Modem: $25.00 The stuff Gamecube does'nt have costs more then Gamecube itself! I dare any Gamecube owner to say otherwise!  |
Jacob, you're right. I loved BO2. I loved the story, game play, and graphics.
Too bad I beat it in about 2 weeks. |
:
2. It's a games console. It doesn't need to play DVDs. 3. The Xbox doesn't have a DVD burner. 4. The Xbox has a network card, not a modem. Not every Xbox owner will use Xbox Live anyway. With the GC, you pay for a modem or broadband adapter if you want to put your GC online - better for consumers. 5. So? The GC doesn't have an electron microscope and that costs more than a GC. Hahahahahaha lol!!!! Try telling me why the Xbox is better than the GC when you quit being such a fanboy. |
Clapps hand at Gluk Shmuck. Defendor of the galexy...:fuzconf:.
Here in good old sweden GC games are roughly 55-60€ |

I've decided to by a Gamecube, I think it has more and better games. Although Xbox has DVD, I think I prefer GC.
