Well I would figure that the Magog Cartel and Vykkers labs are both equally responsable for the production of these products. The Magog Cartel probably skins the Gabbits then sells the skin to the Vykkers.:fuzsmile:

I just thought of some thing. The Vykker we saw in the good ending of MO, no not Headly the auctioner, that weird one with all the strange makeup. Im guessing that this Vykkers is probably wearing the extreemly expensive Gabbit Skin Oil! or it could be just another competetive product?

Actually, Tasty Treats is the collective name for the RuptureFarms products, including Mudokon Pops, Scrab Cakes, Paramite Pies and Meech Munchies, although it has never been confirmed nor denied that the other meat products are Tasty Treats. I would assume so.

Are you sure Max. At the official website (in the meep description) it says that meeps are, "A wonderful source of meat and fat for everything from Tasty Treats to Meep Munchies" as opposed to "a wonderful source of meat and fat for Tasty Treats such as Meep Munchies."

Hmmm, Tasty Treats dose sound like a package of some sort but Im not sure myself. It might be a package of certain things like... lets say Scrab Cakes and Parmite Pie's?

Hmm, I was pretty certain. But then again, OWI have never been very good with continuity, whether it's the thousand year difference between when Abe's Moon was formed or how many fingers Mudokons have. I'll try and find some nice proof.
EDIT: Found it! In the AE movie 'Reward', in which Abe is rewarded with the power to heal Mudokons sick from brew (and gained his very sexy chest tattoo), Abe has a flashback to his Oddysee, and does a voiceover: "I'd been through this before - that's when I got the power to shut down RuptureFarms. That's when I first saw the creatures of Oddworld as they used to be...before we chopped 'em into Tasty Treats." 'The creatures of Oddworld' is a general term meaning, specifically, Paramites and Scrabs. So 'Tasty Treats' is a general term meaning Paramite Pies and Scrab Cakes. Oh, okay, it's kinda vague, but work with it until I stumble across something, anything further. |
