2. I really doubt he meant "Lets get a docter who has no qualifications and let him/her fix ppl." We are talking about grade school here, if someone wants to learn to heal, they go to medical school after grade school. 3. Why would he say that? Where did he say that? |

2. Yeah, but it just seems weird that you could get "good jobs are bad" from what he said... |

2. Shut up. Don't insult me just becuase I'm not being as literal as you are. I need clarification becuase: a. I said "bad" and you said "unimportant". You know what I mean! Don't give me shit about it! and b. It didn't sound like it to me, so I was just wondering how you could possibly think he was implying "jobs are unimportant" (there, I said "unimportant", happy? Or am I going to have to be more f-cking literal that you can understand it?) after all, he is talking about school! Oh, I'm sorry, I guess I'm too stupid to understand anything above "bad". I'm not to 3 syllable words in school yet. I thought you were going to stop being an arse... EDIT: I just read my post over again, and I'm the one being an arse. Sorry, I've just had a shit day, I shouldn't take it out on you, even though you said something completely unnecessary and mean... it wasn't my place to say anything... |

School is imperative in our society. True only the neccessary math and education is needed, but what is our society to build on without it. How are we suppose to choose who is going to be a better neccessity, and thus improve or society, and break way from the problem. We can decipher this from the more educated, and being who learned the best with greatest effeciency. Besides education enforces right from wrong.

What has everyone decided? Do you think school is neccessary for the common human, I think without it we would not be here to an extant........ This also raises the issue where would we be without education?
|
I think that, although the School System leaves much to be desired, it ultimately does a reasonably good job of preparing you for later life, and it deserves a lot more credit than it gets. I don't know about America or Australia or other countries, but that's how it is in England, anyway.
Just don't get me started on Tuition Fees and the Abolition of Student Grants... |
School...
Well, maybe this argument is over, but for once (caugh), I decided to throw in a small post that'll be buried under the tons of dust soon enough.
Most people in MY school is idiots. Those who aren't, are the only ones I like. Which is around (by the people I know) 6-10 (depends on what they do in which moment) out of 25. The rest is ignorant pigs which either is: 1) B*tches running around in their so called clothing, swearing, whispering about how other people dress and look and how they don't look like them which makes everyone but them monkeys in their eyes. I am one of the bigger totally mega über monkeys in their eyes. I can't avoid to look at them, and when they're not sucking the tounge out of a guys head, they're hunting another. 2) Swearing, smoking, fighting, loud, brain damaged idiots in "cool" clothing (why is it soo cool? The shirts, sure, but why, oh why, do they have to show their dirty underwear under their low hanging jeans?!). They kick cans, yell stuff after teachers, annoy and interrupt during lessons and are really, purely annoying... So, now I have complained a bit about the major "I-hate-them" classes of people (or whatever...) in my school, so I'll tell all of you good arguers out there about why I am a "bigger totally mega über monkey". 1) I wear clothes that was cool and inn 25 years ago. 2)I think I'm funny. In their eyes, I'm annoying. 3)I don't have someone to exchange tounge with. 4) I don't want to give them money. They knows that I have it. 5) They simply don't like me. 6) I don't discuss the price of cookies, boys and make-up on the lessons. 7) I don't want to run their %&¤# errands. 8) I think that I am something. Recent Happening: My friends like me. I love my friends. They're the only ones I've ever had (in RL that is...). A few days ago, some girls (eh, bimbos..) sat down beside me. They started to talk to me about stuff. Then they asked me if they could get some make-up from me. I thought "Sure, why not?". But before I replied, one of my friends dragged me away and warned me. She said that they used people, took money and didn't give back things they've borrowed. We stood outside the door to the toilet. Now it was a whole army of girls/bimbos waiting for my reply. I said no. They asked of money. I said no. I became a idiot. But they kept asking me about stuff... I got this feeling, so damn bad I just wanted to cry. I wanted to go home. To the privacy, silence, the comfort of the wood. I don't like people. They don't like me. I started biting my fingers to keep the tears away. My fingers are still a bit red. I feel sickened each time someone I don't know says hello or tries to talk to me. At the language lessons (I'm the only one from my class taking french), I sometimes just want to scream. It's so many people. And in many eyes, my school is considered small. Does it really have to be like this? Hope not. My opinion: Learning is good. School is part rotten. The parts that's still good, smells bad. Sorry about all the crap, but no one listens to me here:( |
School is not rotten only the people who attend it and do not care, and the reason this would happen is the poor funding and paying of teachers....Society promotes education in jobs, some of the most backbreaking jobs are the ones that pay the less because they do not promote education, but in this case, a job such as being a teachers promote the most and you need the most, but teachers for the most part get paid squat, I think teachers should be payed more so they can teach better, and atleast fix the areas were education is needed......

Unfortunately in some places where education are needed not many people can go to school because of needing to support there families. In places like the US, many schools have low budgets so more salaries are out of the picture. Thats a shame, but in my area schools are getting even less money than before for education, so basicly our funding is cutting most new items. Soon enough all its going to be where I am is some updated equipment (ie. computers, school suplies) every 10 years. At one point a few years ago there wasn't enough to get some new playground equipment for one school. My point is, many places don't have the money to get better teachers. But I go to a good school with good teachers, and haven't you ever heard a teacher say teaching is a job of passion? And more money for "better" teaching sounds like bribing. And its kinda hard to fix education in places unless more people in the US are willing to help out and donate, many of which are not.
Silversnow, on your note I am very disgusted at jerks like those. I have a few people like those at my school, unfortunately I also have a bad record with remembering debts *sob* but at least I don't do it on purpose. ANd those bitches opinions on you doesn't matter, anyone like that just wants to sound tough for their on sake so people look up to them and they have self esteem they don't have. Pity them, don't hate. If you hate them your not acting much more mature than them. |
