I agree totally that it would be very unlkely that the mudokon faith was literal, if we were talking about a real people here. But we're not. We're talking about the made-up good guys from a computer game in which everything we have seen so far is one-sided. I don't think it is very likely that OWI would make the native muds "wrong" about anything... If I were designing Oddworld, it would be a different story, but I'm not, and neither are you...

Ah, I see what you're saying now, and it's a good point. Things have been a little cut and dry lately, I admit, but it's a little soon to be ruling out any plot twists already, isn't it? You might just be underestimating OWI's story-telling abilities- they could very well be working the "mudokons good, glukkons bad" angle just to set us all up for a big suprise at the end, one that carries with it a very strong social message about the nature of "good" and "evil".

Or, you could be absoutely right, and we're in for a somewhat formulaic storyline. Only time will tell
