Vera watched the two leave, and she followed them out. An indescribable joy filled her. These were the first two friends she had had in six years. Sure, they weren't Mudokons, but friends are friends. She was so happy that she didn't notice the sound of multiple Slig's pants, besides Maverick's. Suddenly, several Sligs ran out from the shadows. Vera managed to pull out a spear and kill one, but she knew that she couldn't kill them all, or escape. She would need help.

Maverick managed to spin around and shoot at one of the Sligs. "Gah!" He said, narrowly dodging a bullet

just then a mud ran out it was abes son "AAAHHHHH!!!!HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Maverick blinked several times before coming to his senses "We can't defeat them all, just run!" He hollared, grabbing Abe's son and running like hell was on his tail

Hawk seemed to yell "YYYYEEEEEEAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!".
The sligs constantly shot at him, missing him. Hawk was fast, He jumped on one slig's back, skewering him with his feet. Then he stabbed one through the stomach, making his gun fly up into the air. Another Slig was about to pull the trigger on Hawk when the gun from the sky fell and knocked him out, then it hit the ground and went off, shooting many bullets and killing yet another Slig. Hawk began to run and run to catch up with Maverick and the others. The whole time he was running, he was thinking,"Wow, I defeated four fully armed sligs...what a cinch!".

I think i'm starting to form something, I'll see where I can jump in...

Hawk and Salkin walked down a road. They walked slowly, Salkin dragging his legs after him. Hawk breathed heavily, because her mouth and troath were dryed by the road dust. She slightly wawed her tail while walking. She lifted her head and looked forward, suddenly stopping.
"Salkin?" she weezed.
"Yes?" he said and stopped.
"Do you hear that?"
Salkin listened carefully.
"Sound like a crashed party."
He thought for a moment.
"Well, whatever it is, it can't be worse than that place we just left, c'mon." he said and walked a little bit faster. Soon they saw running creatures and sligs.
"What the hell...?" Salkin said. They didn't move.

There. Now I'm waiting for you guys to do the hard work.

Hawk dashed at full speed, ramming into Salkin but, continuing to run.
