Strange, I didn' see this topic before (must been on vacation). Anyway, the best I saw here were Pimmelberg and the Pis Pis River.

There is a town in USA called Myass (not sure of the spelling).

There once was a crazy interview with the Inhabitants where they asked silly questions like: How is the wether in Myass? It was a very funny TV show!!

OH MY ODD, GLUCK SHMUCK... YOU FOUND ME!!!

Seriously, though - I live on Odd Down; it's district in Bath. How cool is that? ;)

I don't know any particularly funny place names ("Nimlet" is my one claim to fame, and then only because it sounds funny. :)) But We did go through "Sligachan" several times when we were on holiday - it's a place on the Isle of Skye. There's also "Scrabster" (sounds like it ought to be the name of a forum regular...) on Scotland's north coast - a ferry point for the Outer Hebrides, I think...

Lol, "Myass" that's damn hilarious http://www.kacke.de/vb/ownimages/smilies/lol02.gif , i never thought that there are so many weird names on the Atlas. *takes her Atlas and looks for more cool names*
