A couple of weeks ago, I had a dream with Sherry Mackenna and Lorne Lanning. I was in a kind of appointment with them and a bunch of artists .

I can't tell you how many dreams I have had with Elum...I mean the dream wasn't about Elum, he was just there...i.e. me and my friends would be at the mall, and he would just be standing around.
Another cool dream I had before..I was in Paramonia. That night before I went to bed I had been taking tons of screen shots of Paramonia...for a possible elumstable layout, and for my screens gallery. I went to bed afterwards..and dreamed I was in Paramonia with my good friend Elum. It was vague, and I remember it was storming and we almost got blown out of the canopy...it was cool though. |
I had some kind of strange dream to, it was...
I was standing on a large tower, wearing my red dress (heh my favourite). Then, it just started to rain down a lot of sligs and fuzzels. The tower was transormed to the glukkon christmas tree, and the fuzzles ate the tree, so i fell down. Then i just was in the middle of the game, running from paramites. I got killed. It was pretty weird... |
i had a dream i went to a movie theatre in the middle of the sahara desert and they were doing a deal..."one time only! oddworld!" said the sighns
i went into the smallish theatre and it looked like a star-trek convention i went to when i was a ltt'lun....anyway, they were showing this presentation in a small classroom type room with large windows on one side, lookingout to the desert....there was this shrink (like from oddworld) outside the door to the screen-room hanging down and he said "go-on in....if you dare!!!!" and i said "shut up dav!(???) and zapped him with my finger, pilotting his armlike extension from the nceiling across the room and out of my sight......i went into the room and watched the presentation. at that time(in real life) they had only released that one pic of a farzad conset sketch of munch in his weel chair with the broken leg, so that was in the presentation...then they showed some gameplay that looked nothing like how it looks now, they also said the game had been out for tow years and i was like, "oh, shit". then it said "the next installation in the oddworld quintology with be squeek's oddysee" and they showed this drawn animation of one of those fishes with the light on their head(i know that sounds crazy but i saw one in a textbook one) and i suppose that was probly sqeek....i then thought 'hey, this is a dream, and i thought up this squeek on my own, maybe i can use it for my own game in real life and make millions.....cool' and finnally i woke up and drew the squeek i imagined. |

I've never had any sexual dreams related to Oddworld (I'd be very worried if I did). Why anyone would want to sleep with Abe is beyond me.
I have, however, had several non-sexual dreams (sleep dreams, not day-dreams) about Oddworld, usually involving Glukkons. The weirdest one was when I was chasing Director Phleg round a skateboarding park remarkably similar to the ones in spyro 3. Several characters from South Park were watching me as I did so, so this dream was a pretty weird amalgam of different games and programmes. Kyle (one of the SP characters) rode past me on a quadbike, but apart from that nothing else interesting happened. Quite surreal. I remember a couple more. There was another one in which I was arguing with the Brewmaster about whether SoulStorm Brew was better than Red Bull. He believed that it was, but I maintained that Red bull was better, if only because it was one of the sponsors of WipEout 2097. There was another one in which Dripik was trying to persuade me to work for him, but I told him no thanks, I was quite happy living as an underground bootleg vinyl baron (I'm not really one, but I dreamt I was).
